Nicole's pov
I saw my dad?! He's supposed to be serving in the military? I thought he was working? "DAD!!" I ran up to him and hugged him. I started to cry tears of joy along with my mom. "Hey honey I'm back for a couple months." He explained. Even though it wasn't the amount of time I wanted him to stay, it was worth it and I'm so grateful. "So anything new happening while I was away?" I said "Yeah." And I explained to him the whole Allison story, Wesley asking me out which my dad did approve of, the talents show, Alexys's dance opportunity, and everything else. I'm just glad to have my dad back home. He left for the military when I was 6 years old and I'm 14 now. I remember the last words I told him before he left, I said "Daddy, come home." He hugged me and went out the door and that was the last time I saw him. I'm so happy he's back.
Later that night
Wesley's pov
Nicole texted me what happened and I was so happy for her. Her dad finally came back home for a while. I decided to go over to her house and they happily invited me in. We ate dinner and then I followed Nicole up to her room. She then kissed me and I kissed back, we then cuddled and watched Netflix and fell asleep. I'm so glad she's in my life and I'm glad I met her. I really want to meet her friends from "The Milkshake Squad" they seem like outgoing, fun people. I was lost in my own thoughts then I went into a deep sleep.
