It's finally the weekend and we have a break from school, I can get away from the drama and bullying for 2 weeks now, well the one that happens at school anyway, there's still my sister though. I decided to spend the rest of the day with my best friend Rose at her house.
"Are you happy about the break, Y/N?"
"Getting away from school drama and the bullying? Of course I'm happy, Rose."
While walking to her house we just started talking about nonsense like we always do, and about what we plan on doing these 2 weeks. And let's not forget talking about the concert BTS is having in a month and that they're so far away and we can't see them. I haven't told her I'm learning the dance to her favorite song of theirs, Dope. Mostly because I can't do it and might just give up because it's getting annoying to just keep failing.
When we get to her house, her mom is cooking dinner while her dad is still at work.
"Hey mom! We're home."
"Hi, Mrs. Sanfords."
"Oh, hey honey, hi Y/N."
"Is it okay is Y/N spends the night here?"
"Yeah that's okay, could you girls set the table for me, please"
"Of course, mom."
We finish setting up the table and go to Rose's room upstairs. When we get to her room we start talking about BTS again, soon after her mom comes in and says that dinner's ready. We head downstairs and see that Rose's dad got home.
"Hi, Mr. Sanfords."
"Hey Y/N, how are you?"
"I'm fine, thank you."
After we finish eating dinner Rose's mom says that they're planning on going to an amusement park tomorrow and asked if I wanna go too.
"Yeah, I'd love to go."
"Ok, we're gonna be staying at a hotel there for 3 days so I'll give you a ride to your house quick to grab some things you might want to bring, like clothes."
"Alright," I say as we start walking to her car. We get to my house and I see that my sister's car is there, I let out a sigh because I don't wanna see her right now, but I have no choice. I walk inside and just as expected she starts questioning me.
"I'm staying over at Rose's tonight and tomorrow I'm going with her and her parents to an amusement park where we'll be staying for 3 days."
"At least I won't have to worry about you while having my party tonight, not like I was going to anyway." She starts chuckling as I roll my eyes and go to my room to pack a few clothes and stuff. I went back into the car and Rose asks me if I'm okay.
"Yeah, just my sister being herself," I say while rolling my eyes.
"Well you won't be seeing her for a few days, so that's good."
"Yeah, I guess so." When we get back to Rose's house her mom says that we shouldn't stay up too long because we have to get up early and leave.
"Do you wanna watch a movie?" Rose asks me as we get to her room.
"Sure, sounds fun," I say and we start looking for a movie to watch. We found one that seemed interesting but fell asleep halfway through it.
Next Morning
We are woken up by Rose's mom saying that we need to start getting ready to leave. Rose goes to take a shower first while I look for clothes to change in, I go to take a shower right after Rose got out. We go downstairs and eat breakfast with her parents quickly and then get in the car and start driving there.
A few hours later
I see the amusement park as we continue driving to the hotel close by, Rose starts getting really excited about it while I just laugh at her silliness. We get to the hotel and her parents go to check in, luckily they have 2 rooms right next to each other so Rose and I get our own room. We go to our room and look around while happily jumping around.
"This is gonna be so exciting, Y/N."
"I know right! It's also really nice that we have our own room."
"Sure is." She says as her mom walks in telling us that we're going to eat then go to the amusement park. We get out of the room and start walking with her parents to a restaurant close by. When we get there her mom says she has something to tell us.
"So because Y/N's birthday is soon, and because of all she's been through it really feels like she deserves this. Her gift from us is that she and Rose are going to see that BTS concert in a month."
"Wait, mom but the concert is in Korea," Rose says confused at what her mom said.
"Exactly, that's why you 2 girls are going to Korea for 3 weeks when the concert is there."
"WHAT?!" Rose and I scream at the same time.
