Chapter 16

It's been a month and a half since I came back to Korea, the job is going well and we have enough money to rent our own apartment now. When we told the boys that they seemed really sad because they were really enjoying us staying with them.

"We won't be that far away, don't worry," I say and they nod.

Yoongi is driving us to the apartment we found online so we could get it to live in. We get there and they give us a room with 2 bedrooms, one for me and one for Rose. It's not a small place but it's not a huge one either, Yoongi helps us with the things we had and then he went back to the dorm.

We start unpacking most of our things before getting too tired, it was pretty late so we just ate something quickly and then went to sleep. The boys said they would help us with the money if we needed it so we can go to college after summer instead of waiting a year.

Next Morning

We wake up and go somewhere to have breakfast, Yoongi and Jimin said they would help us finish unpacking and stuff today. We went back to our apartment and waited for them while watching TV, they got here pretty quickly and started helping.

After 2 hours of unpacking and putting things away, we have finally finished and our new life in Korea has officially begun.

"Hey, I have an idea. How about we go on a double date like before?" Jimin suggests and we agree. We go to the same place we first went to for the double date, we sit down and order the same thing.

"Ah~ All the memories are coming back," Rose says after we ordered.

"I know, right? It's not like it's been years but it still has been a long time." I say and they nod.

We talk for a little longer about the past while waiting for the food. We eat and stay there for another hour just talking before going to a park, I get a text from my sister which surprises me because she hasn't texted me in a few days.

Scarlett: Hey, how is it in Korea? Have you gotten an apartment yet?

Y/N: Everything is going well. Yes, I have actually, we finished unpacking and stuff today, wait isn't it like midnight for you or something?

Scarlett: Yeah it is but I just wanted to see how you are, and I can't sleep anyway.

Y/N: Oh I see, by the way, we plan on going to college after summer if we have the money, so we don't have to wait a year.

Scarlett: That's good, so I'm assuming the job is going well?

Y/N: Yep, and the boys said they'll help if we don't have quite enough money.

Scarlett: God, I'm still jealous you got to meet them and you're also friends with them.

Scarlett: Well anyway, I'm actually getting tired now so can we talk more tomorrow?

Y/N: I wish but I have work in the morning, so probably not.

Scarlett: Alright, talk to you soon then. Night, Y/N.

Y/N: Night, Scarlett.

"Your sister?" Rose asks after I put my phone away, I nod.

"Hey, Yoongi. Do you think we could go to visit her soon?"I ask Yoongi, he looks at Jimin.

"Don't you have to work?" Jimin asks.

"I do, but I could get a break for a couple days. And I think my manager would understand that I wanna visit my sister." I say, they nod.

"Well, you have work tomorrow so talk to him about it and we'll see," Yoongi says.

"Alright, I'll do that. What should we do now?" I ask and everyone thinks for a moment.

"Let's go back to the apartment, we didn't make it livable to not live in it," Yoongi says and we laugh before nodding.

We head back to the apartment and watch some K-Dramas, we get bored and play truth or dare.

"Rose, truth or dare?" Jimin asks her.

"Hmm, dare." She says and Jimin started thinking.

"I dare you to keep your eyes closed for a while." He says, what kind of dare is that?

"Uhm..okay this seems eas-" She was interrupted by him kissing her.

"Really, Jimin?" Yoongi says with a sigh, we all laugh except Rose who was caught off guard.

We play for another hour or so before we decide to go to the grocery store quick to get a few things so we can make dinner. We come back and start cooking, the guys stay to eat then head back to the dorm. We go to sleep we can wake up early for work.

Next Morning

We wake up and go to work after doing our morning routines. We get there early which is good because I get a chance to talk to my manager.

"Hey, Y/N. How are you?" He asks after I walked to him.

"I'm good, and you?" I ask him politely.

"Well, the business is going good so I couldn't be better. Do you have a question?" He says.

"Yeah, I would like to go to America to visit my sister soon. Would that be okay with you?" I say and he thinks for a second.

"I don't see why not, it's just a few days so go right ahead. Tell her I said hi." He says and we laugh.

"Alright, would tomorrow be okay if I go?" I ask to make sure.

"Yep, that's perfectly fine. Well, I gotta go do something, see you later." He says and walks off

I look at Rose who seems happy about this. We start our shift which seems to go by pretty quick. We get back home and I call Yoongi to tell him, he says he'll be here to pick us up in the morning so we should pack a few things.

Everything seems to be going well for them. Nothing bad's gonna happen, right? Nah there's no way, their life is perfect right now. There's nothing that could go wrong with their life...right?

Also, I know that throughout the story I went for a few different "text messages" style and stuff but I think I'm gonna stick to this one for a pretty long time unless I think of a better one.
