I wake up the next morning and get ready for college, Rose was already up and made me some breakfast. I quickly eat and then we head out, we go and get to our class quick because we were almost late.
I saw a boy sitting in the class and I was thinking who he was because he seemed familiar. It was the guy that told us about Min-Jee yesterday, I was planning to avoid him but after class, he comes and talks to us again.
"There are more rumors going around about Min-Jee, appare-" He starts talking but I interrupt him.
"Look, I don't care about these rumors even if they're true or not. Why should I care, can you people let her live her life? No wonder people never come out anymore these days." I say and we walk past him to our next class.
At Lunch
We go to sit with Min-Jee, Yeon-Ra, and Chan-Hyo at our usual table. I want to talk to Min-Jee about these rumors because they are really annoying me.
"Hey Min-Jee, so I'm not sure if you know but there are rumors going on about you," I say and she looks at me.
"Aren't there always rumors about people?" She says.
"Yeah but this one is really annoying me and I wanted to ask you about it. The rumor is that you might be a lesbian, now before saying anything, I don't have a problem with you if you are and neither does Rose." I say and Rose nods.
"We don't either, one of our really good friends from high school was bisexual and we supported her no matter what," Yeon-Ra says.
"I don't like talking about it during school, can we all hang out after school and I'll tell you then?" She says, Yeon-Ra and Chan-Hyo nod but Rose and I don't.
"We have work half an hour after school, we could stop at a park close by the cafe we work at if that's okay," I say and they all agree.
The bell rings and we all go to our next class, I can hear people talking about Min-Jee. Why can't they leave her alone and let her live her life?
After School
We walk to a park that is near the cafe after me and Rose changed clothes from what we were wearing at college, we stop there and start talking about the rumor again.
"Alright well, to answer your questions directly. I am not a lesbian but I am bisexual, I trust you enough to tell you this." Min-Jee says.
"Well, I'm glad you trust us Min-Jee," Yeon-Ra says and we nod.
I get a phone call a few seconds later. Yoongi. I get up and go a few feet away from them.
"Yoongi? Why didn't you answer my calls last night?" I say as I answer the phone.
"I'm sorry but I couldn't. First, I was like half asleep and also I wasn't allowed to because if I did I wouldn't have been able to wake up on time." He says.
"Okay, I understand but I have another question. Which is also why I called you last night." I say back.
"What is it?" He asks.
"Who was that girl the news was talking about?" I ask him.
"Oh her? She works for the company. Don't worry, you know I wouldn't cheat on you." He says which makes me relieved.
"Wait, but they said you were holding hands?" I ask after a few seconds.
"Oh no no, she was giving me something, I guess it looked like we were holding hands but we weren't." He says.
"I see, well I have to go, work starts soon. Saranghae Yoongi." I say.
"Have fun, nado saranghae jagi." He says and I close the call.
I go back and sit with the girls again, Rose said she explained to Chan-Hyo and Yeon-Ra about us and BTS. Rose and I leave after a few more minutes of talking because we have work. It only took us 4 minutes to get to the cafe so we were on time.
"Welcome back girls, how's college going?" Our manager asks as we walk in.
"Ah it's going well, we made 3 new friends so far," Rose says with a smile.
"Oh that's good, so are you ready for work?" He asks.
"Not really but do we have a choice?" I say and all 3 of us laugh.
It was pretty quiet, no problems with the people that just come here to hit on the girls and stuff, it's really annoying when they do that especially if they're like 5 years younger than you or something.
A Few Days Later
The boys will be coming back tomorrow and I'm really excited to see Yoongi again, and I know Rose really wants to see Jimin too. We've been hanging out with Min-Jee, Yeon-Ra, and Chan-Hyo every day.
We just got home from work today so we can finally relax because it's the weekend and we don't have to worry about college, we go and sit on the couch and turn on the TV. It was a random K-Drama, it was kinda boring at some parts so we were also on our phones.
"Uhm, Y/N. You need to see this." Rose says and hands me her phone.
More BTS news, I read through it and at first it was just about them and their songs but then I saw this one article.
'Min Yoongi, also known as Suga, was seen on what looks like a date with the same girl as he was seen holding hands with a few days ago. A lot more people have been saying that there a chance they might be dating and I think this proves it all. Reporters say that it looked like he was about to kiss her at one point, but the waitress showed up to take their order and stopped them. If anything, we should be waiting for them to tell all of us about their relationship but there's a high chance they might be dating so we might be expecting an announcement.'
"WHAT. THE. FUCK." The only 3 words that could come out of my mouth at that moment.
"I'm not sure what to say about this Y/N. You should try and call him maybe he can explain." Rose says.
"He'll be here tomorrow, and there's no college tomorrow so we'll just wait," I say and she nods before pulling me into a hug.
"I'm sorry this is happening to you Y/N." She says.
I can't believe him, I can't believe he would do this. There's no explanation needed, to be honest, I think I understand what he's trying to say. I'm not good enough anymore, and maybe I never was.
