I heard dad's calling. It's time for dinner, I guess... I got up and walked downstairs to find a cheerful Dan happily bringing dinner to the table. I'm guessing he's trying to cheer me up. Wait... DOES HE KNOW? Oh whatever. "Hey dad!" I said cheerfully. He smiled back and that made me a little better. "Come on lets eat dinner, Jem? You comin?" "Coming!" She said. Two little pugs came running up to me and started licking me. Wasn't there three pugs? I looked at dad and asked, "Wasn't there three pugs?" He froze and looked down. "Peggy? She passed away... we only had her for a year and has been fighting over her sickness... But she just gave up..." I saw him tearing up. "B-but.. I k-know she will be h-happier where she is right now.." As me with two pugs on my lap I quickly ran (With the pugs) To dad and put the pugs in front of him. They started licking and barking. Dad started laughing again. "Okay Ellie and Darcie that's enough." He picked them up and brought them to their food bowls. I sat down and started eating dinner. Not talking or having a conversation, just quiet. Well except the pugs, dad was staring at me. I noticed and tried not to make eye contact, but I could feel him glancing at me. I stood up, "I'm not hungry..." Running up the stairs and headed back into my room.

>Dan Pov<

I think something is wrong with Lily... She's not in her usual self. I got up to go and see Lily, but Jem interrupted me. "Ummm Dan, your food?" "Not now." But Jem interrupted again, "Dan it will get cold-" "I SAID NOT NOW!!" Jem looked at me and looked down. "I-i'm sorry... but, not now." As I kept walking upstairs, knocked on her door. "Sweetie? Is everything okay in there?" All I heard was silence. No response. I sighed and headed into my office, sat on my chair and banged my head onto the table. Stop being stupid Daniel, you're better than this. I felt cold, i didn't even bother to finish editing the video. I don't know what to do.

I breathed heavily, I didn't want to go back to school, no no no no no no no no no no no. Does Karma come back to pick on me again? I did nothing wrong! I swear!
