Me and Elt-y (a story of Elton Castee)

Chapter seven part THREE

Elton's point of view:

I wake up in a white room. I get the smell of antibacterial soap and cotton. Hospital.

Now I remember. The crash. Lorin. Colby.

But im so lost that I don't recall anything after I said to save Colby.

God I hope he's alright. I hope Lorin is coping well.

Soon the doctor, Corey, Sam, and Lorin walk in, all smiling

"Guys! I woke up so confused! Am I okay?! What about Colby?!"

The doctor speaks up.

"All you have is a little scratch and Colby sprained his wrist. All is well Mr. Castee, "

The doc turns to the door.

"Come in Mr. Brock."

"Finally your up Elty."

"Good to see you too ass hat. How long was I out?"

"Well the stress from the accident left you exhausted. You've been in bed for four days."

"Damn. Lorin? Have you been taken care of?!"

"Yes Corey, Sam, and even Colby helped me cope."

"Okay. Thank you boys, I owe you my life. But um... I gotta speak with Lorin in private. Is that all right?"

"Yup! Come on guys give them space!"

With that everyone fled.

"Elton I was so scared."

"I know baby. I'm sorry."

"It's okay. I just... Love you so much Elt-"

I cut her off.

"That's what I wanted to talk about. Listen... You've always told me you love me, and I blew it off because I thought I was incapable of loving. Well I realized... I'm just as much of a human as anyone else is. And I don't want to be afraid to tell you how I feel lorin. I love you. With all my heart. When the crash happened all I thought about was if Colby was okay. So if I left this world... He would take fair of you. Having you cry on my chest while I loose conscience... It was awful. I'm sorry I never said this sooner."

I look into her eyes as she weeps.

"You... Love m-me?"

"Yes. And I'll say it a million times more to make you believe me."

"Elton... I never thought that...We..."

"Would ever happen? Neither did i."

I heard a scratch at the door and we both knew that the gang was eavesdropping.

"Yall can come in now."

They all piled in.

"Congratulations!"

"Yawl are adorable!"

"Bae goals!"

Then Colby walks up to her with his most dashing smile yet.

"I'm proud of you. Over coming Dustin, me, the accident... I couldn't be more happy with how you have matured. And as much as I love you Lorin...Elton will give you everything that you could possibly need."

"Thank you Colby. I love y-you  t-too."

She cries into his chest as he cries into her hair.

After the get their sobs out, we all head to the RV.

"Where to now Elton?"

"A hotel. I am never driving tired again."
