Dakota's POV.

  Trey, are you a virgin?

I can tell the question hits him as a shock as he sits up, pulling his arm from around me. His brows furrow and his lips part.

"Why are you asking me this all of a sudden?" he asks, giving me a confused expression.

I sit up and face him. "Because I want to know. Why can't you just tell me?"

"I didn't say I didn't want to tell you. I just..." He bites his bottom lip, which is kind of sexy.

"Trey stop stalling. Have you had sex or not?" I look at him suspiciously. He rubs the back of his neck. Why doesn't he want to tell me.? Why does he look so guilty? "Trey."

  "Well...Ummm..."

"Trey! Are you a virgin or not?"

"Yeah?" he says looking at me kind of confused.

"What do you mean by yeah? Why are you making it seem like your unsure. Have you stuck your dick in a virgin or what? My god."

"Yes, Dakota." he states a little more boldly. "I'm a virgin."

Trey's POV.

  "I'm a virgin."

I knew for a fact that was a lie. I couldn't help tell Dakota that I had sex with another girl. Especially, Angell. She would freak. I didn't want to start an argument nor an integration. Plus, how could she find out anyway? Check my dick for marks? This is lie, will help us both.

  Dakota's POV.

I narrow my eyes at Trey. He smirks, planting a kiss on my cheek. I swear he lying. I'm gonna find out if he is.

Treys jaw harden as he checks his phone. All blood flow is drawn from his face. "I got to go beautiful." Trey says  I've got some...business to deal with." He gets up from the couch.

"Are you okay? What kind of business is it?" I say following him.

His face hardens but he manages to smile. "Just some business Dakota. I'll talk to you later ok?"

"Yeah. Ard. Text me. I'm going to go meet up with Ayanna."

"Okay beautiful." he places a warm kiss on my lips before walking out the door. "Love you."

"Love you too!" I call out. Realizing I'm in his apartment, I lock the door and head over mines. When I open the door, my parents are on the couch. They are both smiling and laughing. I look at them surprised. Why are they together? Aren't they getting a divorce? I place my keys on the table.

  "Uh! Um!" I say "coughing".

Both of my parents turn around. I can't help but smile seeing my moms eyes so bright. Seeing her smile for the first time in three months.

My dad gets up holding my mom's hand. They both look at me.

"We're not getting a divorce." my mom announces pulling me into a hug.

"We've decided to get through it." my dad states kissing me on the forehead and then my mom. "Together."

"That's great." I say honestly. And it is. I wasn't really worried that much. I did cry. But then I realized how much my parents loved each other. I'm happy they've decided to get through it. I need both of their support this year. With everything. The only thing I can think about is Shawn. I miss my brother so much.
