I woke up in my room with all kinds of pain. My head hurt, my wing felt like it’s been shot, my whole body was in pain. “Mr. Sparklez?” “Um sir you don’t have to call me that.” Marie’s dad walked in the room. “You still have the option to split you and my daughter’s souls. I have this potion that will work.” “Thanks for the offer but i’m good.” He walked around my room inspecting everything. I sat up. “Is there something wrong?” He looks at a vase. “You do realize that you haven’t changed anything for Marie’s future right?” “What do you mean?” “I mean she will destroy the city because of you.” now I was mad. I jumped out of bed. “Well what the hell did I do?!” “You didn’t save her.”
Marie’s p.o.v
“Hahaha! I’ve been waiting for this my whole life!” Izzy kept setting off the electric shocks each one worse than the last. She sent one so painful my whole body arched back. I screamed in pain. “Lizzy that’s enough! We don’t need her dead!” She shut off the machine. I gasp, my breathing was unsteady. “Now leave and let her rest we need her awake and energized.” the male doctor and Lizzy left. “Come on Marie! We have to escape!” And yes I know i’m talking to myself. “Think, think!” i thought what power I could use. I have fire, but it’ll take ages to ment the metal straps, I can’t turn into a puddle like lily can, my branches won’t help. Ugh! This is Jordan’s fault! If he just help me I wouldn’t be in this mess! For once I don’t feel anger, I was sad. I’ve been tough all my life, I rarely cried but now, everything i’ve held in came out. I was sobbing. I cried for a good 5 minutes. “No, I can’t let this be the end!” i closed my eyes and shrank down. “Yes!” Just in time too because Izzy was back. “Emergency! She escaped again! Ugh!” she ran out and pushed the lockdown button.
“Time for me to go!” i open up my wings. Mistake. My wing had a huge hole at the end of it. It was a bloody mess. “Ok then,” i was about as small as the ends of a shoe lace. “Here’s an idea!” when the next doctor walked by, i grabbed onto their shoe lace. Rage and revenge boiled through me. “They’ll pay. Everyone will pay!” when the doctor ran by the exit, i used my branches and swung from a vine. When i made it outside, i ran to the woods.

“No i can’t be the blame! I tried to save her!” i made a fist and a small ball fell. A sudden pain shot through my entire body. “Aah!” i fell to the ground shaking. “Like i said, let me separate your souls and you won’t feel her pain anymore.” “No wait this is a good sign.” “And can you explain how?” “I can find her this way.” He just scoffed. “I know exactly where she is, she’s running through the city about to destroy it. Get ready we have to fight her.” No this can’t be.
Marie’s p.o.v
When i was about center of the city, i grew size. “Listen to me! All of you! This is what everyone deserves! All my life everyone treated me horribly! Now i’m here to give revenge!” as i said that, i saw everyone from the cliff running towards me, including Jordan. They came back to rescue me! “Guys! Over here! You came ba..” i was suddenly attacked by Nicky. Everyone started fighting me. “No, no no no!” i caught fire and i grew to the size of a skyscraper. I started to kick around throwing pieces of buildings and cars. Everyone just fought they wouldn’t stop!

Everyone was fighting but me and Christa. Iris was back at the cliff since she wasn’t a super. “We need to stop them. I have an idea.” i opened up my wings and flew to Marie’s face. I dodged everything she threw at us. My wings were hurting i felt every single bit of pain Marie was feeling from this fight. “Marie stop!” she couldn’t hear me. “Nicky, morph into Jordan and help him up there.” “you got it!” Nicky was soon next to me. “What are you doing?!” “Obviously trying to help you defeat this demon!” she threw huge steel balls at Marie’s face. “Ow! Jordan why?!” her fire hand swung and smacked Nicky down to the ground. She quickly recovered and flew back up. “No!” i threw a ball at nicky, slowing her down.
I decided to fly by her ear, maybe she’ll hear me better. It was hot up there. Everything was on fire, but i went closer anyways. “Marie! Remember who you are! Remember what i told you to do when you’re angry!” “Huh?” she turned and looked at me. I was sweating like crazy. I’m pretty sure if i stay this close for much longer, my wings will be burnt to pieces. “Jordan! You betrayed me! You left me behind!” “I know i know and i’m sorry! I tried to get you i really did! I just couldn’t!” “Why not?!” “Because i thought that if i stay hidden, i would have a chance to get everyone together so we could save you!” i look down at everyone. “But i was wrong! They don’t care but i do! Now please! Shrink down!” Marie’s orange eyes went purple for a second but soon changed back when Nicky punched her right in the nose. “Ahh!” her arms flailed around. She hit me and i fell to the ground.”my eyes widened, i coughed up blood. Marie froze in pain. I couldn’t move, but Marie could. She looked around until she found me. “Jordan! No what have i done! Her fire went out suddenly, she was still huge so she just got on her knees. “Jordan are you ok?” i coughed more blood trying to answer her. “No no no no!” she shrank down completely and was by my side. “No i didn’t mean to.. Jordan you're ok.. I..” “Marie it’s ok.” i was confused. I’m laying here dying but Marie was sitting by me only slightly injured. “Why am i not like this?!” “Marie it’s fine.” “No! It’s not ok!” “Wait! I can heal him!” Christa ran up and before Marie said anything, Christa sprinkled her glitter dust all over me. All my pain disappeared, i could breathe normally again i was completely healed. I sat up and heard slow clapping behind us. “Congratulations Christa you can heal whoop-di-doo for you.” It was Nicky. Finn was right behind her smiling at Marie.
“See? I told you she wouldn’t betray us. She proved it by coming by my side. She has a heart.” “That doesn’t matter, we must destroy her.” “Um i’m right here?” “no! You won’t, not without killing me first.”
Marie’s p.o.v
Did he just say what i think he said? “Very well, Finn, take Marie. Run around the city for as long as you can. The wind speed will prevent her from catching on fire or using any other power, she won’t shrink, grow, anything. If she does it’ll kill her.” “Gladly.” “What?” i was suddenly picked up and carried across the city in incredible speeds. I couldn’t move. “H-hey! Let me go!” He yelled something back, but i could barely hear him from the wind whistling in my ears. We stopped in the forest. “What the hell man?!” “Listen to me, i don’t trust your father. I’m not on his side!” He sighed. “What is it?” “I, I’ve always loved you from the moment we all found you and Jordan. I always thought you looked beautiful and though your personality isn’t exactly super cheery, it didn’t matter to me. I couldn’t fight you back there. I only agreed to come along after what your father told me.” “What did he tell you?” “He told me that you were evil and you must be destroyed so we can collect your powers for his personal use, but i think he’s the evil one. I think he wants to take over the world. I disagreed at first but..” “But what come on you can’t trail off like this.” He sniffled. I think he was about to cry. “He told me that once we kill you, we go after Jordan next. That’s when i agreed.” “why would you do that Finn?” “Because i hated him, i was jealous that you and him were connected. I wanted you to myself. I’m so sorry for what i did.” “wait you did something?” “The moment Jordan crashed down, i saw the pain in your fiery eyes. Before we went out after you, your father gave me a syringe full of this weird glowing liquid. He told me this will separate your souls so that way, i can have you.” that explains why i was on the ground dying beside Jordan. “Now you need to stay here and hide. I’m going back to fight.” “You can’t fight Jordan! He’ll kill you!” “I didn’t say i’m fighting Jordan, i’m going to fight your father. Seeing you by his side in tears as he was almost dead made me realize how much you care for him. If he did die you would have been devastated, that’s why i won’t kill him. Goodbye Marie.” He kissed my forehead and disappeared.
