Stupidity

The New Girl

"Oops, I'm sorry. I didn't know you wanted this book. I'll just find a different one" the girl said in a soft voice.
"O-oh! It's fine, you can take it" Fin uttered.
"Are you sure you don't need it? We do have an exam coming up based on this book", She says.
Wait, how does she...as Fin thought to himself. "Are you in Mr. Archimedes' class?", he asked.
"Yes, I just transferred here and I'm picking up wherever you guys left off" she said as she starts to walk away. "Where are you going?" Fin asks.
"To study and hopefully find someone to lend me some books to study up on."she says as she looks for an open table to sit down and rest.
"But it's the third quarter", Fin says as he follows her while holding the book from the shelf.
"Don't worry, I'll be doing my best here so I can become a Mage", she says with sparkles in her eyes.
"Well I hope you find that person, I'll be heading to class now", Fin says as he makes his way out of the library. "Goodbye!" She yelled as Fin left the room.
Fin got into class and started reading. He didn't noticed that he was an hour early. "Oh shoot! I forgot to ask her about her name.....wait why do I care? She's probably in different classes. I wonder where she's from though." Fin started to ponder thought after thoughts about the new transfer student. BAM! Fin jumped and realized that class had already begun. "Huh? That's strange, when did they come in?" He whispered to himself.
"Now, Fin I know you're the top student but this is no time to be dazing into thin air during a review", Mr. Dales said to Fin in a harsh tone.
"I'm sorry sir", Fin says.
"Don't let it happen again", Mr. Dales replied. "Ah you're finally here", Mr. Dales says while walking towards the window. As Fin looks out, he noticed a familiar figure sitting on a floating broom.
"I'm sorry I'm late", the mysterious person says while entering the room through the window.
"Don't worry about it. But next time, please refrain from using magic to get to your class, we have been having accidents with potions and such in the past" Mr. Dales says as he walk back to his podium to introduce the new student.
"Hi everyone, my name is Saphire and I'll be your new classmate!" She said with a happy expression.
Fin being filled with surprised dropped his book. While reaching for it, the same hands reached out at the same time. He looked up and saw her smooth, glowing face again.
"S-sorry", Fin stuttered as she hands him his textbook.
"Be careful ok?" She says softly as she sits beside him. Fin blushes as he continues to write notes down.
