Stupidity

Fear

A ginormous shadow was growing in the smoke as the shaking of the ground grew more and more. Struck by terror, Saphire stood idly by as I started to conjure up as much water as I can. Snapping back into consciousness, Saphire started to chant something I couldn't quite make out. She drew out what seems to be a wand like-hair pin and started to chant something I couldn't quite make out. As I focused to make the water gather into a huge whirling ball, a flash of purple lightning darted into my massive water ball. I looked to my sides and to my surprise I saw Saphire grinning and holding her hands out making more lightings strike into my the water ball. I looked forward and a humungous Dragons feet stepped out of the smoke and into my sight. I focused as hard as I could to keep the water ball twirling in a sphere. Sure enough Mr. Archimedes emerged from the smoke and was right in my line of fire.
"Now!", screamed Saphire while starting now some sort of new chant.
With all my might I lunged the lighting, water ball at Mr. Archimedes. He tried to dodge it but he was too big.
BOOM!
My water ball seem to have made a straight hit. I looked for the signs of Mr. Archimedes but the only thing I could see was a huge scrape mark on the ground he was recently on. It seems that the water ball not only hit him but blew him away.
"Well that landed perfectly", Saphire said while gasping for air.
"Are you okay?", I asked as I looked towards her. She seems to be sweating a lot.
"Yeah, I'm just too worn out", she said while falling to her knees.
"H-hey!", I said while running to her. As I grabbed her by the head before she completely fell, she lost consciousness.
"Hey! Hey!", I said while gently shaking her to wake up. "How did you do that", I whispered.
The ground was shaking again. I looked behind me and waited for Mr. Archimedes to get close.
"Is the girl alright", he asked in a calm voice.
"Yeah, she just fainted", I said while noticing some marks on my teacher.
"Are you okay?", I asked him as I noticed a huge bruise on his left shoulder.
"Ah this?", he started," This was the cause of you two combining your magics together."
"Yeah but wasn't it just water and lightning?", I asked him.
"It was at first but it seems that girl froze half of that water orb you launched at me", he replied looking amazed. "Even with I used my flames, the ice was gonna make the impact since the I got stunned by the water" he added.
"Oh, she actually threw some lightning bolts into my water ball as I was trying to make it concrete enough to make an impact", I replied.
Just who is this girl anyway I thought to myself.
"Well, class is over, you two did pretty good for your survival exam", he said,"better take her to the nurses office since she fainted."
"Ok, thank you sir", as I said while picking her up and head to the nurses.
Questions filled my head. Who is she? Where is she from? How did she learn how to infuse magics? As I continued to stay in my random thoughts I heard her whisper. I went closer to her to here what she said.
"Fin, I love you", she says softly.
