{Jessica's pov}
It's evening and...
I decided to meet Aiden at the park to return his sweater and to do other things as well. I just wanted to see his face once more. I couldn't resist. I miss him so much after last night. I've never felt like this. I just need to see him. I throw my phone onto the bed heading to my closet until I hear a door close and my name called from downstairs. It sounded like my mother. Back with disappointment and the same excuse every time. "Darn they ran out of supplies,". Yeah.. sure they did. Sure they did mom. I go downstairs ready for the same excuse, but this time my mom didn't have one. "Happy b- well, late birthday. I'm sorry I didn't give this to you earlier." My mom said. A beautiful cake was in front of me with my name in pink frosting with white frosting underneath. It was a cake. An actual cake. Not a half assed excuse. "Mom I-" "I know honey. All these years I give you the same excuse saying I'm getting the materials but this time I did. I have before but I could never bake it correctly and end up screwing it up and forgetting about it. Every year aunt Ivy has helped me but she either gets upset from being insanely drunk or isn't even there. She was finally sober and helped me this time for your 18th birthday." My mom explained. I felt so bad. All these years I thought she was like my dad and got drunk every year. She's been practicing to make a cake.. for me. "Now it might not be mu-" I cut off my mom by giving her a huge hug. "It's perfect mom. I love you so much." I said. I heard tears about to come up from my mom as I heard her whisper, "I love you too Jess. Always.". "I promised Aiden I'd meet him at the park. When I get back I promise you we can eat all of the cake tonight. You and me." I said. She nodded as she cut a slice for Aiden. She wrapped in tinfoil and gave it to me. I smiled and gave my mom a kiss on the cheek. I headed back upstairs and put on a white shirt distressed light blue jeans and my adidas. I grabbed Aiden's sweater and the cake and soon left. I got into my mom's car and drove to the park. Then I saw Aiden sitting by a tree. I got out running towards him with the cake and his sweater. He saw me as he got up running to get a hug. He picked be up spinning me around while I still held onto the cake and his sweater. He finally put me down looking into my eyes and smiling. "Well here's a slice of cake and your sweater." I said handing him the stuff. "Woah cake... did you buy it?" "No. My mom actually made it. I'll tell you later." I said giggling. We sat underneath the tree taking small pieces of the cake as I told him what my mom did for me. "Wow and I thought both of your parents were dicks." "I know right." I agreed with him. I accidentally got icing on my nose since my fingers are covered in cake. Aiden wiped his hands off and then licked it off my nose. "Aw Aiden gross!" I shouted playfully. We both laughed while he licked his lips. I looked over to see a female figure off in the distance staring at us. Once I blinked a car pulled up and she disappeared. I kept looking until Aiden kissed me. I pushed back playfully as I swiped my finger onto the cake putting some icing on his lips. "You have a little something right there.." I say but then kiss him back. He picks me up as he puts me on top of him, continuing to kiss me. He wraps one arm around my waist as the other reaches down to my butt. I grin putting my arms around his neck. For the rest of the day til the sunset we fooled around making out underneath the tree.
