Now that Nevaeh's father's funeral is over and she has had time to heal, she decides to go back to Dally in Tulsa. But things are different. Dally isn't a big jerk, just a little one. Sodapop lost his job. And Ponyboy and Sodapop are in danger of going to a boys home. Nevaeh does her best to fix everything, but some things you can't fix.
