Graduation was coming up soon and they both couldn't wait to leave high school and start a life together. Bonnie had everything planned out in her head; first, they would move somewhere, anywhere other than Mystic Falls. She loves the town, but things get boring after living there your whole life. Then after some years, Stefan would propose and she would say yes and everyone would be happy for them. After a year or two of marriage, they would start to have children (no more than three) and then they'll live happy long lives together as a family. It was the perfect fairy tale and she was going to be living it.

Finally, the weather turned hot and it actually felt like the spring time and not winter. Girls were breaking out the skirts, shorts (some even a little too short), and dresses while the boys were trading in their jeans for shorts and sweat shirts for T-shirts.

Bonnie was exceptionally happy for the weather change. It was only supposed to stay hot for the first two days then the weather would drop and the following day, Mystic Falls was expecting rain.

Taking these two days to her advantage, Monday she wore her sundress that she knew that Stefan loves. It was thick strapped and stopped a few inches above the knee. It was white with mustard yellow flowers (not too much) all over the dress and she paired the dress with tan flats and curled the ends of her hair. Stefan couldn't keep his eyes off of her the whole day and at lunch, he couldn't stop his hand from running along her smooth thighs. It was hard for her to focus in her convocation with Elena when his hands were on her skin. When he finally got some alone time with her, he wasted no time wrapping his arms around her pulling her close.

"You look beautiful" Bonnie blushed at his compliment. She's been complimented all her life and not once had she blushed, but when Stefan told her such things she could help but not to.

"Thank you" Bonnie looked up at him catching his gaze and closed her eyes as he connected their lips.

His hands tightened around her waist and he pulled her body in as close to his as he could. Stefan pulled away and they linked hands as he walked her to class sending her to the room with a goodbye kiss.

He was waiting for her at their usual spot by the water fountain, and when he spotted her down the hall, someone clouded his vision. He's never seen her before at least he thought he hasn't, but by the way she was looking at him, he knew that she has seen him before.

"Hi" her voice was perky.

"Hello..."

Stefan studied her features. She had olive skin and silk brown hair stopping at her shoulders and deep brown eyes. She was about the same height as he was with glasses and pearly white teeth.

"I'm Abby, and I know that you probably haven't noticed me, but I was just wondering if you were taking anyone to prom?"

Stefan smiled at her braveness, "Well, l'm dating Bonnie so I was thinking about taking her, sorry though." He felt bad for rejecting her, but he was with Bonnie.

"Darn, okay well I guess I'll see you there?"

"Yeah, sure" he smiled and she walked away.

When he looked back down the hallway Bonnie was standing with her arms crossed with one knee bent. He looked to the side to see Abby giggling looking at him talking to her friends. He knew that he was in trouble especially after everything that happened with Vanessa, and when he realized that she wasn't going to move he made his way to her. When she was in arms reach he wrapped his hands around her waist and kissed her cheek.

"What was that about?" Her stance didn't change.

"A– she was just asking me to prom" Stefan made sure to not use her name.

"Bitch" she cursed under her breath rolling her eyes. Stefan chuckled, "I'm serious, Stefan she knows that we're together she's just trying to steal something else from me."

"Baby, don't worry about it, I've never seen her before and even if I have you're the only one I have eyes for." He cupped her face and stared into her eyes for a while before kissing her. When he pulled away she looked passed him and saw Abby watching them. Bonnie gave her a smug smile and Abby rolled her eyes and walked away.

The next day in school Bonnie resorted to jean shorts and a tank top with her favorite white pair of Calvin Kline flip flops.

"I'm so hot!" She fanned herself pulling her hair up to a ponytail.

"Yes. You. Are." Stefan teased running his hand down her arm making her even hotter.

"Even though I agree with Stefan," Caroline started, "here's a fan to cool you off."

Bonnie gladly accepted the cooling utensil and waved it in front of her face.

"You know what we need to do?" Elena got an idea, "We need to go to the beach."

"Yes!" Caroline and Bonnie agreed.

"I think we should check the weather first, it's supposed to be cold these next few days." Stefan brought up.

"Always the party popper, Stefan" Bonnie teased before she took out her phone. With fingers crossed she clicked The Weather app and when she did a little dance the group knew that their beach plans were good to go.

They were going to have a beach weekend. Caroline was newly dating Matt and Elena and Tyler had become a thing a few weeks ago. It was going to be a couple's weekend. The bell rang signaling the end of lunch and they said their goodbyes confirming their beach plans.
