"Kiayō! Kaiyō!" Mikages voice echoed around my head for a few minutes. I could get myself to wake up. "Kaiyō!"
"I'm wake." I grumbled, slowly sitting up.
"Good to see you back."
"Good to be back." I smiled before standing up. "How long was I out this time?"
"A day and a half."
"We only have a day left. We have to hurry."
"Not so fast. You can't go back in the state your in at the moment."
"I'm fine." I snapped. I needed to save a Tomoe. "I think I know what he used as a charm."
"What would that be?"
"The hairpin Tomoe meant to give me. The past Tomoe fell in love with me and said it was a symbol of us meeting again. It has to be the object as he doesn't know I'm a yokai and still thinks I Yukiji."

"In that case we need to find Kuromaro. Rest. Nanami will take over from here."
"No I'm going back!"
"But you need to rest..."
"I'm going back and you can't change my mind!" I shaped before relighting the burner and laying down.

I was swallowed by the darkness of time.

It was dark and snowing where Kuromaro decided to reside. I ran in the direction that a soft light was coming from and sure enough, the blizzard stoped the second I reached the fallen gods shrine.

"Hello?" I shouted into the darkness.
"Just as I expected. The foxes mate is here." Came a heavy voice.
"Where are you?" As I asked the fog before me faded away to reveal a body laying on the floor. The black, wispy hair was floating around the head. "Are you okay?" I rushed to the body and softly touched it. Cold.
"I'm fine." The voice chuckled and the body moved to. "I guess your here for the fox?" He asked and I nodded.
A chucks surrounded me and a blinding light lit up the sky.
Before me was Tomoe.

"Tomoe!" I ran towards him in joy to see my hands fade though him. "A memory?"
I watched as he walked towards Kuromaro siting under a tree.

"I guess your here to make a deal." Kuromaro sounded very feminine. Odd but who am I to judge...well...anyone really. "So, The fox has has fallen in love with a human woman."
"Her name is Yukiji and she is to be my life long partner." Tomoe proudly said.
"Love between humans and yokai are forbidden."
"I'm here so you can make me human."
"A spell like that would need the best of my abilities, and will have a great price." I swear if this guy says he wants laugher as a payment I will snap.
"What do I have to do?"
"If I perform the spell you will turn human next full moon, however, you cannot leave this woman till the day you die. If she dies before you, you will die to."
"I don't care. That's what I want." Tomoe was definet in his words

"Very well then. I just need and object for this deal to work. The item must mean a lot to you." Kuromaro said before holding out his hand.
Tomoe reached into him Kimono and pulled out my hairpin. "She gave this to me as a sign that she will see me again. It's only fitting to use it now." He handed the hair pin over to the fallen god.
"This will do perfectly." Kuromaro smirked. Wait. Arn't deals in the god world made with kisses?
And sure enough, without warning, Kuromaro jumped up and planted a kiss on Tomoes lips.
"It is done. You will turn human in two weeks and if she leave her, you will die, and it will be painful."

"No. You stupid fox! I'm not human. Im a yokai! You didn't have to do this!" I should have told him, then non of this would have happened. The timeline would restart and he would have never made the deal.

The memory faded from my view and Kuromaro spoke to me again.
"So you are the human woman he fell for, except your not quite human are you?"
"Long story. But most of it includes trying to find you so we could reverse the spell you placed on him."
"Isn't that how it always is? By trying to prevent something from happening we only ensure it."
"But this time it's going to be different. I know for a fact that if I hairpin and give it to Tomoe he will be restored."
"You know your stuff." The chuckled again. Still no eye contact. "Sadly, I miss placed the hairpin along time ago. It should be somewhere on this mountain but I can't seem to find it anywhere. It's such a bother." I was half expecting the sun to come out and him to turn into a cat.

"Your, your joking right?" Please just be joking.
"Well in a few years after my body breaks down you should fined it again. Right where I'm laying actually."
"What?"
"I'm dying. I found myself t be quite hungry so I ate he closest thing to me."
"You swallowed a hair pin!" Kuromaro just nodded. "Great!" I huffed.

"Kaiyō!" Nanamis voice called though the fog of the mountain.
"Nanami? What are you doing here?"
"Mikage told me to come get you. Your body's getting weak. You've strained it to much."
"How weak?"
"Your barely breathing and your hearts slowing down, fast." As she said this I realised that I did feel quite weak. "We need to go."
"Okay." I nodded before turning back to Kuromaro. "Thanks for your help."
"Not a problem." He chuckled before we ran off.

"So..."
"We can find the hairpin in the remains of Kuromaro in the present day."
"Remains?"
"Long story."

And back to the real world I go
