I put on my dress and adjusted it in the mirror.
I then curled my hair and done my makeup.
"Are you almost ready sweetie" I heard my mom call from the bottom of the stairs.
"Almost" I called backI quickly put on my heels and grabbed my bag closing the door on the way out.
We drove up to the wedding for 2:45 giving us 15 minutes to get ready.
Me and mom were bridesmaids so we got ready out the back with dad and Cam stood at the front next to Josh, he's the groom.
Stephanie my sister was the one getting married and we spent the last five minutes before the wedding sorting out the last minute adjustments to her hair, dress and every thing else.
Shortly after the doors opened and it was time for us to walk out.
Mom gave her a kiss on the cheek and I gave her a short hug before walking out.
There were so many people and all that went through my mind whilst making our way down the isle was the voice in my head telling me don't trip, for gods sake do not trip!
I'm not used to wearing heals, in fact this is my first time wearing them. If I had it my way I would of wore my converse down the isle but my sister insisted that I wear heels. It is her wedding after all.
We made it to the end and I was finally able to stand knowing there was no risk of me tripping or falling becoming a complete embarrassment.
I looked over at Cam and smiled
"You look lovely" Cam mouthed to me
"Thank you" I mouthed backIt wasn't long before the music started to play and Steph made her way down the isle holding dads arm like tradition
She looked so beautiful and dad looked so happy. I glanced over at mom and she was crying already. I slyly opened my bag and handed her some tissues.
"Take these" I whispered
"Thank you"The ceremony started and it was beautiful, they made their vows and everything went perfectly just as she planned.
It did however drag. Though standing up at the front seemed like an honour it didn't do justice to my feet.
When the ceremony ended everyone took photos and then got in their cars to head to the reception.
I can't remember what meal option I ticked on my invite but I remember it sounded good.
We all sat down at our tables and ate our meals. I choose the steak and brownie.
The best part of the meal was what came after. The toasts, I'm not talking about people spilling their hearts out with their speeches making everyone cry, I mean the champagne that follows. It is a fact that weddings have the best tasting champagne.
I managed to survive the ceremony and the meal without taking my heels off but I was getting desperate.
We were at that point in the night where no one was drunk enough to start dancing and everyone just made casual talk between themselves.
