Dean
Convincing Dean to get a dog was not easy, in fact, it never really happened. It started out as you teasing him that he reminded you of a German Shepherd, but slowly morphed into you actually wanting one. Of course, he rejected every request you made for one. That didn't stop you though...

Dean and Sam had been gone for two weeks on a hunt across the country. With nothing to do at the bunker, you decided to visit the animal shelter a town over. As luck had it, a German Shepherd had just been brought in. Coincidentally, it's name was Lynyrd. While it may have been a bit rash, you brought him back to the bunker that day. Dean was more than pissed when he first came home to find a dog sleeping on his pillow and his favorite shoes chewed to pieces, but he couldn't bring himself to take Lynyrd home after seeing how happy you looked playing with him.

To this day, he insists that he only keeps the German Shepherd around because of you. Everyone knows that's not true though, especially since Lynyrd rides shotgun in the Impala.

Sam
Getting a dog was always a sensitive topic for Sam. While he was over Amelia, it still brought up memories which were both happy and sad. After he told you about how he met Amelia when you asked about the possibility of adopting a puppy, you never brought it up again. It was partially because you didn't want to cause him pain and partially because you didn't want to think about the fact that his past relationships influenced yours so much.

It was a common thing, really. Simple things like the clothes you wore that reminded him of Amy or the dates you went on because of Sarah. It also ranged to more important things like the talk of marriage because of Jess. You knew it was unfair to be upset because they came before you and made Sam the man he is today, but it still hurt that so many things could never be yours because of other women.

Unbeknownst to you, Sam was aware of your inner struggle. You never mentioned anything, but he could see it on your face. He knew he could just tell you that you meant so much to him and he was willing to try and put what happened in his other relationships behind him, but he wanted to prove it. So, in his typical fashion, he spent weeks researching. Finally everything came together.

You were sitting in your room binge watching Netflix when your phone started blaring the Marty Moose Theme Song which signaled a call from Sam. You quickly ran over to your dresser and answered. You expected him to let you know that him and Dean would be heading home soon or just to ask you about your day, but you were surprised to just receive instructions to meet him at a nearby park in half of an hour. While you were extremely confused, you got dressed and headed out to meet him.

When you arrived, you couldn't see Sam anywhere, but twinkling fairy lights that were twisted around the branches of trees seemed to show a path so you followed it. After several minutes of walking through the park that was barely illuminated, you get to a small clearing where there is a small picnic set up and even more lighted trees surround you. Sam nervously stands in front of you and gives you a shy smile.

"Sammy, not that I'm complaining, but what is this?" You ask. He walks a little closer and you notice that he's wearing a nice white shirt and black slacks.

"The last two years have been the best of my life, Y/N. I know I'm not the easiest man to be with and I've brought you into a life that no one dreams of, but I hope I've brought as much happiness as you've brought me." He paused and took a deep breath. Slowly, he dropped down to one knee and brought a small box out of his pocket. "I want to be with you, Y/N. I don't mean simply being together and avoiding everything from my past. So, will you marry me?" He looked so hopeful and his eyes were twinkling with happiness for the first time in a while.

"Of course I will, Sammy" you say and he immediately engulfs you in a hug. "That's good, because if you said no, I don't have any idea what I'd do with this little guy." He whispers in your ear. You glance at him confused, but your attention is quickly drawn to a small puppy jumping out of the picnic basket you saw earlier bounding towards the two of you. You bend down to pick up the fluff ball and bring it into your arms. You can't stop smiling and giggle as the puppy licks your face.

"What is her name?" You ask Sam while fiddling with her adorable pink collar. "Whatever you want, but I think Dean wants to name her Cherry." He says while laughing at his brothers antics.

"Cherry it is." You decided and laugh too at Dean's unsurprising answer.

Castiel

Getting a dog with Castiel didn't quite go as planned. When you mentioned wanting a dog, he immediately agreed considering 1. you asked and 2. he once saw a dog on TV and thought they were adorable. When you got a phone call from Cas saying that he would be bringing a puppy back to the bunker that afternoon and you could hear Dean roaring with laughter in the background, you should have guessed something was wrong. Unfortunately, you were too elated and dismissed the weirdness.

When you heard the door open later that day, you expected to hear the patter of paws on the floor. Instead, you heard the what almost sounded like hooves on the floor. Curiously, you run down from your room to see what was going on. Upon reaching the commons, you see your favorite angel wearing a cowboy hat and Dean holding the trench coat and smirking. As you get closer, you notice a small pig happily munching on a apple that had been put on the floor.

Oh no. This is why Dean was laughing.

As much as you wanted to groan in frustration, Cas's face was lit up with a smile. When he saw that you arrived, he proudly exclaimed "I got you a puppy! And I got a free hat!"

It's been six months now and no one has had the heart to tell him it's not a dog...

Sorry, Sam's story got away from me a bit. Anyways, I'm the third author in this book. KaeliBeckers invited me to work on this book so here is my first part. I'll be making a part two of this with Crowley, Gabriel, and Balthazar. If you want to see anymore characters, let me know. Have a great day!
