"Aw man, I wished we could have stayed for another couple of days." Gray said as he walked into the living room where Juvia was reading. "Juvia enjoyed going there. It was so much fun." Juvia says smiling brightly like always. Gray sits next to Juvia and puts his head on her lap and stares at her as she reads. Juvia looks down and blushes really hard and quickly goes back to reading. Gray chuckes.
"I'm gonna go meet up with a friend ok, I'll be back in a couple of hours." Gray says as he slowly gets up. Juvia nods her head. He kisses her and leaves the house.
"He should be here any minute now." Gray says as he looks at a clock by a fountain. "GRAY!" A man shouts. He jumps and turns around. He walks over to the other side of the fountain and finds his friend, Jack. They met when they were younger and they've been friends ever since. "Hey, what's up? It's been such a long time!" Jack says as he grabs Gray to bring him into a hug. "I know, I've been a bit busy. I guess." Gray says as he scratches his head.
"What you have a girlfriend or something?" Jack says jokingly. He brings Gray over to a bench to sit at. "Uh, yea." Gray responds. Jack looks at him surprised. "What!? Really? I never thought I'd see the day that you'd get a girlfriend. So who is she?" Jack asks. "Her names Juvia. We've been together for a couple of months already." Gray says smirking a bit. "Wow. A couple of months. Damn. I've gotten up to a week with a girl." Jack says and laughs. "Do they break up with you?" Gray asks. "No I dump them." He says arrogantly.
Gray looks at him, shakes his head, and sighs. "Why?" He asks. "They get to clingy and they always wanna be with you. I mean yea it's great but I want my own space too and I wanna do my own things but you always have to be with them." He says. Gray looks at him confused. "Is Juvia really all that great?" Jack asks. "Yea. She's the only one that makes me happy." Gray says as he smiles.
Jack looks at him and chuckles. Gray looks at him confused. "What?" Gray asks. "I feel like you should break up with her." Jack says as he looks at Gray intently. Gray looks at him surprised. "What do you mean? What? No? Why should I? What the hell?!" Gray says. "I think you're getting a little to attached to her and that's not good. I think you should split up with her for a bit and be on your own for a while. You were never like this before. You use to be a cool kid." Jack says. "What do you mean? I should take some time off? What?" Gray's asks confused.
"Yea. It would be better for your relationship. It feels like you guys rely to much on each other. You guys should separate for a bit. And if you guys still love each other then you can get back together." Jack says. "I should separate myself from her for a bit and if I love her and she still loves me, we should get together again?" Gray asks. "Yea, my other friends have done it and it works and they are living better lives than before. You should do it." Jack insists. "I don't know, I feel like I'd go crazy without her." Gray says as he shakes his head. "Exactly my point. You need to separate because you guys are way too attached to each other. It would be better for you." Jack says. "Just tell her you guys are breaking up and just leave. That's all you have to do." Jack says. Gray looks up for a moment and nods his head. "Alright. I'll do it. Just for a bit...and then I'm coming right back to her." Gray says hesitantly. Jack smiles.
"You should probably go now, it's gonna get dark soon." Jack says. Gray nods. "See ya." Gray says as he waves his hand.
Gray arrives and looks at the door. "Ok, it's not that hard. I'll just walk in get my stuff, tell her, and walk right out." Gray tells himself. Gray opens the door and walks in. He doesn't see Juvia in the living room so he quickly goes upstairs to get his things.
He walks down and now finds Juvia in the living room staring at him. "What is Gray-sama doing? Why do you have a big bag with you? Where are you going?" Juvia asks confused. "Um...Juvia. I have something I wanna tell you." Gray says in a nervous way. Juvia looks at him confused. "I uh, wanna... um... break up with you." Gray says looking at the floor." Juvia looks at him and her eyes widened. "What do you mean?" Juvia asks as her eyes slowly start to water. "I'm leaving. Goodbye." Gray opens the door and leaves. Juvia stares at the door and tears start to fall down her face.
She kept staring at the door expecting him to walk in as if she just imagined the whole scene.
