Pidge slowly opened her eyes. Great another dark place. She tried to remember what happen to her as she felt around to figure out where she was. She wanted to smack herself in the face she remembered that she went through a door and ran into some of Galar. And well they knocked out her cold and assuming put her into a cell.
She rolled her eyes with a groan. She heard voices in other tongues. She sat up quickly feeling the bars with her right hand as she rested her left to her side. She saw a pair of glowing eyes in front of her. She backed up out of terror. She stood rising her right arm to estimate how tall the cell was. It was tall and long enough for just one hostage.
She looked at the glowing eyes stepping as close as to the pair of eyes.
"Hello?"
All the voices stopped. She felt so many eyes on her even if she couldn't see them.
"Umm... I'm the green-"
Before she could finish someone that spoke perfectly good English spoke surprising her.
"Shut up."
It was a husky, low tone, male voice. It scared Pidge more than anything. She heard the voice come from the set of glowing eyes. After her state of being shock her attitude set in.
"Excuse me?"
Her tone was nothing but sweet. The voice spoke up again and he repeated the same words again but with a more firm way.
"Shut up."
"Why?"
A door was heard in the distant towards the right. Lights were flicked on. Pidge heard the buzz of the lights and saw how big the room was it held millions of prisoners. There was many cells that were in rows and she was one of them. She looked around looking at all the different species. They all were asleep or at least still once a few Galar entered the room. She was the only one moving in her cell. She felt like all the hostages were dead but they were just faking it. She was about to do the same thing before the Galar came from behind her cage and started to speak to her.
"The Green helpless Paladin."
She kicked the cell bars not saying a word.
"Little boy got an attitude"
They laughed as she mumbled under her breath 'do I still look like a boy.'
"Are you guys just going to stand there or are you going to open this damn cell."
"You can actually speak."
She rolled her eyes. The head Galar of the group stepped forward. As the others stood in silence. Pidge glanced between the group of Galar. She showed so much confidence and anger towards them but inside she was terrified she just wanted to find her brother and father. She wanted to leave this responsibility she had taken. She didn't shake or tremble when they inched closer to her cage. She watched closely not causing a scene. The leader of the group kicked the cage and other odd things to open the cage that made Pidge jump a couple of times.
The cage was open with a loud creak and a visible lock dropping to the floor. She didn't notice the lock until it hit the floor. She stared at it to analyzed it wondering how it worked she remember that once they turned the lights on. She never noticed a lock on the cage maybe they have some devices to clock the locks from the eye sight.
Suddenly the Galar darted for her within the cage to quick to react. She felt needle like fingernails within her left arm, yelling in pain the leader Galar pulled his fang like fingernails out of her arm letting blood trickle down her side that was entirely numb. He stepped outside the cage to examine his fine work. She was getting dizzy and was unable to keep her eyes fully open. His fingers must of had some kind of drug and it was a blazing through her arm and leaving the rest of her body numb and sleepy.
Without any armor or any medical attention to her left arm that was already injured she was beyond helpless she tried not showing any weakness. But tears burned and threaten the corner of her eyes. She blinked them away quickly as she tried to keep her eyes open. She shifted her whole weight leaning her back against the cold bars of the cage. She panted hard from pain and exhaustion she tried her best to stay alive even thought she felt like dying.
"Wow I thought he would be out like a light by now."
One of the Galar from behind edged with more nasty comments. Without intention the words slipped through Pidge's lips before she could think.
"You really think I'll go down that easily?"
Her voice was full of taunt. The Galar was shocked of the challenge she just tested with them even the condition she was in. Some of the other prisoners were getting curious and opened their eyes to watch but no one moved an inch. Pidge tried to stand to at least look at them from a standing point instead of seating along side of a cage half numb.
With shaky feet she moved her right free arm to grip one of the bars to pull herself to stand up to the Galar soliders. The head soilder that puchuted Pidge's left arm slung his arm to let Pidge's blood fly off hitting the other prisoner's cage next to them. The leader walked back into the cage with a Pidge standing on to shaky legs. He smiled.
"At least you have some fight in you young Paladin."
He slammed his foot onto her thigh making her fall hard against the cold cage that was pooling with blood. She yelped in pain she knew by now she had a bruised or almost fracture thigh bone and a bloody left arm. She looked up with sharp eyes not tearing away from the ugly leader that stood before her. She tried to remember every detail for next time if they cross paths she will know which one will be on her kill list. She was so much full of hate at the moment she could not realized the situation she was in.
They began to laugh at her and say things she didn't understand. Her eyes began to feel heavy before she could fall asleep and take her to some other place again she coughed up blood with a smirk masked on her face. And with her free right hand pointing at the leader's hand that was painted with her blood.
"That arm will be my trophy when I'm done with you ball sacs."
They were obviously angry with her but she didn't care what happen the drug she assumed that was on his fingernails that penetrated her was numbing the rest of her body and feeding all the pain into her arm. They were about to throw another strike at her she flinched but was already on the verge of passing out.
Before she could fully pass out she heard a cage rattle from behind her and different languages being spoken. She watched as the leader stopped mid way during his strike and yelled at the cage behind me. She kept hearing muffle voices yelling and saying.
"YOUNG PALADIN!"
The phrase was screamed over and over. Something big was going on but she didn't understand their was laughing and shaking of cages. The galar that stood behind the leader ran over to the cage cursing.
Her eyes slowly closing from reality.
She tried turning her head to see what was all the commotion but was pulled out from the cage not having the strength to turn her head. The leader dragging her body out not caring if she hit a couple of bars. The same voice again speaks but is more muffled than the last.
"PALADIN DON'T FALL ASLEEP!"
She only picked out a couple of words 'Fall asleep.' She would of love to but she was in so much pain and the drug was just feeding at her exhaustion.
Her eyes mid way panting hard just to have enough energy to keep them open to see what was happening in front of her.
The leader put her bleeding body over his shoulder not restraining her because he knew how weak she was. She tried kicking and moving her body but was to weak to even keep her right eye open.
Slowly her right eye shut only having her left eye open.
With all her strength she tried perking her head up to see what was going on and saw the alien that told her to shut up being restrained and...
Both eyes finally closed leaving her body limp and fall against the galar's body that carried her to the exit. She didn't even have enough time to see what the alien looked like that saved her in a way.
