(Y/N) frequently hung out at his house. He liked hanging out with her there – instead of outside- because restaurants and crowded places didn't really sit well with him.
This time, he had offered to make her a sandwich as she sat, sifting through channels in the lounge.
"You are a cool dude."
"Why do you think so?" Brian grinned.
"Well you just killed the patriarchal paradigm," she grinned at him. "But, I want to help you too, now come on."
They both stood in his small kitchen; he made the sandwiches while she made lemonade to drink.
For the first time in a long while, he felt happiness light up his body. A genuine smile appeared on his face as he looked at (Y/N), who was busy humming while making lemonade.
Being happy felt nice. He hoped he could feel happy again.
