Dear all friends and readers,

I am writing this at 4 am in the morning so pardon my grammatical mistakes in this post but I'm really excited because...

THIS IS IT!

I've reached the end of CIBY, FINALLY, for the second time! Thank you so so so so so much for reading this story. I know there are many areas for improvement but for now, I am much happier with the plot than it was before. I cannot emphasise how HAPPY I am to finally put a tick on this story. I am also SUPER exhausted from writing it so I don't think I would want to touch it anymore, other than the little grammar editing along the way.

This is officially the rewritten version of CIBY (version 1.5) - still very much a first draft of sorts but thank you for bearing with me.

There are SO many people I'd like to thank and I've gone through every single comment to pick out all the names I can find and included those who voted for this story as I wrote because these are the only ways I can see your names. These will be at the bottom of this post because I have a few questions to ask yall first!

I would love if you can give me some feedback (please help me comment inline!)

This part is meant to be interactive so please do respond! :D

Annie's questions: You don't have to answer all of them, but I'd be so grateful if you can help me answer just some of them. I will also post my own answers below! :)

1. Who is your favourite character(s) (and why)?

2. What did you like about this story?

The mystery? Ethan and Emma's chemistry? The backstory?

3. What's your opinion of Emma?

4. What can be improved on?

More scenes for a specific character, an extremely weird plot that should be eradicated, plot holes etc.

5. Should Emma have ended up with somebody else (and who)?

6. Other comments/questions you have for me

Inspiration

I was fascinated with love stories with a twist. One of such was a Korean Drama called "Secret Garden" whereby the two main characters stumbled into a secret garden, drank an alcohol, and basically swapped bodies the next day. Sounds familiar?

That is not all. That show had an incredible ending because there's a reason as to why they swapped bodies out of the millions of people in the world. (Not to mention that the guy already loved the girl before they swapped bodies haha.) Everything came full circle in the end and I fell madly in love with the show and the couple.

I wanted to tell a story like that too, and one fine day, the dialogue "You'll be married in a year's time. I know that because I come from the future. I am your husband's son," just came into my head.

This story is - I would say - a very happy one all in all. It's lighthearted, nothing dark, and just a little guessing game.

I certainly hope you've enjoyed it and that the ending was satisfying enough! :)
