Bahja

Zonnique sighed, dragging her fingers down her face. I could sense the irritation on her, but I could care less, because she knows something I don't know. And I am determined to find out what it is. I widened my eyes, anticipating when she would finally tell me what was going on.

"I'm waiting.." I snapped. I was feeling bit tetchy, but she was taking forever just to answer one question.

She positioned herself beside me on the bed, after resting Elijah gently in his cradle. "Bahja, there are a few things I haven't told you, but Breaunna isn't alive." She shook her head in denial.

I squinted my eyes suspiciously. "What do you mean there's a few things you haven't told me?" I crossed my arms under my chest. "And if you've been lying about things, how can I trust you about Breaunna not being alive? I mean, I saw the text."

"Bre is dead," She assured me. "You saw her get shot, and you saw the corpses in your basement-"

"Pause." I stopped her mid-sentence. "How did you know about the corpses?" I raised my eyebrows. "I didn't even inform you about any corpses.." I cocked my head to the side. "Nique, what the hell is going on?"

I didn't know if she was going to speak, but Elijah began whining and carrying on. I exhaled, and sashayed on over to his cradle. I gently picked him up, and stuck his baby blue paci in his mouth. It automatically shut him up, and I took that moment to let Zonnique speak.

"I'm sorry, Bahja. I have to go." She stood to her feet, and outstretched her arms. I sighed and placed Elijah into her limbs. She put him in his carrier, and gathered all of her things together. "But I will talk to you later. I promise.

..

Chresanto

"Listen, i'm sorry for what I did. It won't happen again. I'll keep everything that happens between us, between us. I'm dead serious." I assured to Blaze.

For the last few days, Blaze has been on my ass about letting Bahja in on their big secret. And right now, I feared for my life. Because he was starting to threaten me. Holding guns up to my head, trying to feed me poison, ect.

I reached my hand up and grabbed hold of the gun. I lowered it slowly, and cautiously.

"Aight, then." His breathing pace slowed down some. He stuck the gun into his pants and licked his lips. "But you better not be lying to me. I won't hesitate to kill you, Chresanto.

There he goes with the life threats again. As he ambled out of the room, I sighed and drug my fingers down my face. I turned to MadDog, Bull and Bix who were laughing like there was no tomorrow. "I don't see what was so funny." I shook my head and stood to my feet. I brushed off my knees with my hands and grabbed my phone.

"You were shaking so hard, bro." Bix chuckled. They all laughed along and I rolled my eyes. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. I sauntered over to the front door, and opened it.

"What are you doing here?" I raised my left eyebrow, eyeing who was at the front door. Bahja. I raised my voice a little bit when I spoke. She was the absolute last person I was expecting to be here. She shouldn't be here. It's not safe.

"I need to talk to you. Like, now." She enjoined. Her demanded tone was what made me look around to make sure the guys weren't watching. They weren't. Considering that, I quickly stepped outside and shut the door behind me.

"I'm actually glad you're here." I beamed. "The thing is, i'm really really sorry-"

"Not now, Chresanto!" She irritably cut me off. "That's not what i'm here for. I need you to tell me more about Breaunna's death."
