Meeting The Patients

Hoseok POV

" Mr Jung. "

The audible knock upon the door had stirred me out of my slumber, the sound of doctor Kim's voice from the other side grabbed my attention and I sat up, hands rubbing at my still tired eyes.

" Yes Doctor? "

My voice was groggy and when I finally became a little more awake I stood from my spot upon the bed,  my feet hitting the cold floor whilst I stretched and quickly got dressed, my wardrobe now only consisted of white clothing and a couple other colors but nothing that could trigger the patients. Doctor Kim said Black and other dark colors could affect the patients and make them irritable.

" I need you to hand out the medication to the patients, please get ready, I'll be back. "

" Yes Doctor Kim,  I'm getting dressed now. "

Listening to the sound of the older males footsteps slowly fading down the hall, I'd slip into a white dress shirt and some white jeans, my hair was a little messy so I ran my fingers through it and placed on my face mask,  It wasn't needed but for sometime now I've been a bit uneasy with people seeing my face,  I don't like people staring at me and this helps.

Making my way out of my room,  I closed the door behind me and directed my attention towards Doctor Kim who was walking back, his hands holding a tray with five cups placed upon it, all holding medication inside them.

" Ready to start your day? "

The way he smiled at me,  It made me feel uneasy, after everything that happened yesterday I didn't know If I wanted to go Into their rooms without someone with me,  at least I knew for some of them I'd be accompanied by one of the other male nurse, which put me at slight ease.

" Yes "

" Wonderful, now listen carefully Mr Jung,  you don't want to give the wrong medication to the wrong patient. "

Giving a Curt nod of my head,  I'd listen carefully as Doctor Kim listed off the medication  and who It was for;  eszopiclone for Patient 103;  Antipsychotic for patient 104; Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor for patient 102; Antidepressant for patient 101; And for patient 204 & 205.

" You only need to talk to him for a bit, I can't prescribe him with anything as most drugs won't affect MPD but No worries Mr Jung, he's passive, nurses walk into and out of his room all the time with no problems. "

Staying silent, I wasn't to sure If I felt better or If I was supposed to feel better after hearing that.  I knew I could trust Doctor Kim not to put me In harms way but I couldn't help the uneasy feeling that welled within my stomach.

" Can you handle that Mr Jung? Want me to repeat anything? "

" No... I understand, I'll have all the medication handed out shortly. "

" If you have any problems,  your free to step out of the rooms anytime and call for me, I'll be In my office but I'll call for another nurse to come and assist you with some of the patients. "

" Yes,  thank you Doctor. "

Staring on as Doctor Kim left me to my Job, I gulped and exhaling heavily, turning face In the direction of the ward and I headed down the hallway, my first stop was isolation, Room 204 & 205, Kim Namjoon.
