It smelled like fire. Fire. I looked around to see if anything was catching fire. I searched around but nothing. No fire. I stilled smelled it though. I walked to the kitchen to see if anything was on fire or not. Nothing. "Welcome home" I turned around to see Shadow. Shadow. I stayed silent and went to my room. Our room. I've been saying that a lot. Ours. Everything now I guess is ours. When did that happen? When he asked me to marry him or when I stepped into this forsaken house? Scarlet is ours or is she? She could be someone else's. He's lied to me about so much I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe there's a third lady. No! Stop thinking like that brain. He wouldn't do that. I looked into the mirror as he walked in. But he did. He came up and hugged me from the back. "Just know I will always be here for you.." he said. "Where were you when I lost my memory?" I asked outloud.
Shadow let go of me. He looked at me in the mirror. He had a concerning and aggravated look. He turned and walked out. I havn't seen much of him. I didn't really want to anyways. Burning. I looked at the picture on our dresser again. Shadow and Scarlet's faces were scratched out. When did this happen? I put the picture back. Useless. I walked back to the kitchen and decided to get a snack. My head hurt like crazy. I felt like I has a migraine, but I doubt it was. I knew it had something to do with these weird thoughts circling my head. Reckless. I'm not really sure what they mean but they had some relevance. I decided to go out for a walk. I went for the door to walk out. Shadow spoke up before I could go. Nuisance. "Where are you going?" He asked. "For a walk" I answered. "I think you need to lay down, you don't look so good" he told me. "I don't CARE. I'm going... fOr a WalK" I say then leave. I need to leave that house.
I've been in that house for too long. I needed a breather. The outside world was so close. To stay inside was only going to make me vomit or go crazy. Torment. These words, what are they. What do they mean. Words kept popping in and out of my head without meaning. I stopped by an ice cream place and had some ice cream. I tried to rack my brain for the answers to the words. Suddenly the burning smell entered my nose for a brief second. It was only getting annoying because I could only smell it for a second instead being able to smell it continuously. Suddenly I felt myself want to smell it. Smoke. Things burning. Harming. My spoon, that I was eating ice cream with, fell to the floor. I bent over and picked it up. I threw my plastic ice cream bowl away, as I was done. I had already paid so I left the ice cream place to continue my walk.
(Longer chapter because I love you readers) [and we're getting close to the end]
I kept walking, not really sure where I was going. I had no destination. Then the same thoughts came to my mind. What if there was a third lady? He saw another lady and had Scarlet with her. No, maybe it's Emerald's child. Emerald wouldn't just give me her child and me and her are on good terms. Or are we? Envy. I kept walking and found myself at the house. I must have subconsciously walked here. I walked inside the house and the feeling came back. I wanted to smell the smoke, the wood burning, flesh burning. I walked to the kitchen and looked through the drawers. "What are you doing?" Shadow came in and asked. "Looking for scissors, I was gonna cut some string" I lied quickily. He walked over to a drawer and opened it. He grabbed the scissors and handed them to me cautiously. "Thank you sweety" I said. I almost barfed. Saying 'Sweety'. I walked out and waited for him to leave.
I found myself a lighter. I started out lighting some papers on fire but I wanted more. I went to the kitchen again and found myself opening a drawer of knives. I picked one up and looked at my face in the reflection. Merciless. I decided to figure out what these words meant. After that last one they kept repeating. Over and over. Faster and faster. I wrote them down on a piece of paper.

I looked at the words up and down. I finally took the first letter of each word and wrote it down. 'BURN THEM' It spelled out. I looked at the lighter. I flicked it and a flame lit on top of the lighter. I stared at it for awhile.
Before I knew it I was in top of Shadow with the knife in my hand. He wasn't talking, moving or breathing. "Shadow?" I asked. He didn't respond. I got off him and started panicking. I rushed to the garage and got some gasoline. I poured it all over our room, all in the kitchen, and in the living room. I walked to the front door and lit the lighter. I opened the, stepped out and knelt down. I touched the lighter to the flame and it instantly caught fire. I slammed the door shut and ran out to the front of the house. I turned smelled burning. I turned around and saw the house burning. I heard a scream from inside the house, it was Scarlet. I looked at my hands and saw blood on them. I turned to my right noticing some bright light. I screamed. A big truck plowed into me as I was standing in the street.
