Your P.O.V.

I open my eyes to be met with a white ceiling. I look around to see I'm in a hospital room. Everything from earlier comes back to me. I look down at my hands, they were clean. I move my legs and swing them over the edge of the bed. Shadow's.... dead? I heard the door click open. A nurse walked in. "Ah, you're awake miss.." she grabbed the clipboard on the end of the bed. "Miss (l/n)" She finished. "Y- yes I am and in a hospital?" I said. I looked around once more. "Oh, you got hit by a truck. You should rest" she said rushing over to me. She tried to get me back into bed. "Hit by a truck? Can I walk?" I asked. "Of course you can walk, you just moved your legs" she said. She had a point. "My hus- Shadow's dead?" I asked outloud. "What? Your husband? He's in the hall" she said confused. "He's- he's in the hall?" I repeated. She nodded her head.

I got up and rushed out of the room. "Shadow?" I said. I turned my head to see him standing up. "Shadow!" I ran to him. I ran into him, he hugged me. "Are you alright? You got hit by a truck!" He asked. "Y- yes! Now that you're here!" I exclaimed. "Mommy!" I heard Scarlet say. I turned to see My beautiful daughter. "Wait, but I thought you both were.... dead?" I said. "No. You were rambling and sleepwalking. You wandered into the street" he told me. "Sleepwalking?" I asked. "Yes" he answered. "I've never sleepwalked" I told him. "You also thought we were dead" he said. I laughed. "True" I said. I wiped the tears from my eyes. I grabbed Scarlet up into a hug. "I'm so glad to see you. I'm sorry if mommy has been scaring you lately" I apologized for my strange behaviors. "It's okay mommy! I love you" she said. I gave her a kiss on the forehead.

I let her go and stood up. I turned to Shadow. "As for you.." I said. I went and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I've been going through some tough times and I've been questioning our relationship... but I think that's over now" I said. He put his hands around my waist. "Good. Do you still need that psychiatrist?" He asked. "No, I'm done with that!" I laughed. "Good" he said. He put his hand under my chin and lifted my head. He closed the gap and kissed me. We stayed like this for a minute before pulling apart. "Do you still fangirl over me inside?" He asked smiling. "Yes, who wouldn't?" I wink.
