I felt more pressure on the blade and my blood trickled down my neck.

"How boring, you aren't even wincing." his grip around my wrist tightened and I grimaced.

"Let my sister go!" Zabuza's eyes fell on Ryu and lit up "Oh sorry, I didn't see you. What are you doing here?"

Ryu cleared his throat "My name is Ryu and that is my little sister, Haruhi. We aren't shinobi, we have no weapons or money."

"You two seem quite young, why are you alone?" "Our companions are all dead."

Zabuzas eyes shifted back to me and he let me go, I twisted around and hid behind Ryu.

"I am 16 and Haruhi is 10, we are planning on traveling to a city and earning some money so that we can have a normal life." I smiled

"So we can have an adventurous life and become deadly shin-!" Ryu covered my mouth

"Sorry, she's a bit of a loud mouth when she's excited." I nodded and bit Ryu's hand

"Why should she be excited?" I shifted my eyebrows

"I love you!" Zabuzas eyes widened in shock. "Who doesn't know Zabuza Momochi? You are so cool and-"

I bit Ryus hand again, he rubbed it against his pants and glared at me.

"We must get going now, sorry for disturbing you.Good bye." I grinned and waved before tagging after Ryu.

"He is so nice." I held my brothers hand. "Even if he cut my neck." I ran my finger along the cut.

"Let me look at it." he grabbed a bottle out of his pocket and poured it over my neck. I dug my nails into my palms and closed my eyes as tight as possible, I felt the fizzing liquid run down my neck.

"There will be a scar but it isn't so bad." he sighed and passed me a dumbling.

"We are lucky it isn't anything worse!" I clapped my hands and started to eat

"Imagine we meet Kakashi and the three legendary sanin!" my eyes sparkled with joy

"Haruhi, we should focus on getting food and money first, seriously. I honestly don't believe the next time we will be as lucky as now."

"Oh well, Zabuza didn't really have a reason to kill me."

"Maybe we are in a restricted area?" he suggested

I jumped up onto his back "Ryu! Go faster! On to the next village!" I giggled and he laughed

It was a spotless, perfect moment with only me and Ryu.

"Say, what would have happened if he killed me?" I whispered

Ryu was startled "I would just press this button and everything would restart. Or I could continue without you."

"The pain in this world feels like in real life though." he nodded

"That's the special thing about the Cubix, it feels like real life." I hugged him tighter

"I have always wondered how it would be to die." he froze up but ignore my comment

"Welcome to our village! Enjoy our fresh Teriyaki and fish!! Buy one of those beautiful bracelets!"

This obviously is a market village.... "Ryu, can I have some food, I'm starving."
