Sink or Swim {Bon x Reader}

I watched as the students walked through the door of Yukio and Rin's house. "Dayum, Teach. You're looking good," Shima said. I blinked and then slapped the back of his head. I had just gotten out of the bath and I was in a sports bra and spandex. "Say that to me again and you won't have a tongue," I growled. "Damn, what got your panties in a twist?" Rin asked. I glared at him. "You woke me up early, you dick!" I yelled.

Everyone turned to look at me. I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. I'm going on a run," I said. I grabbed a water bottle and threw my hair in a ponytail. "Wait, Y/n-" I cut Yukio off. "You can do it yourself. I'll be back in like an hour," I said. I opened the door and stepped outside. Footsteps rapidly came toward the door and I held it open.

"What the hell?!"

"What is that?!"

A big black dog ran out and I patted his head. "C'mon Midnight." I jogged down the sidewalk (followed by Midnight) and put headphones on, turning it to Forest by Twenty One Pilots. I sang along to the song as I ran around the academy.

***Time Skip***

I walked through the doors of the house and into the kitchen. I saw all of Yukio and my's students sitting at a table, doing something. "Ugh, I'm gonna go take a bath. C'mon Paku," Izumo said. "Can I come?" Shiemi asked. I narrowed my eyes and walked into the room silently, standing behind Shima.

The three girls left and Shima decided to speak up. "Let's go watch them." Konekomaru sweatdropped. "You're getting into your bad habits again," he said. I slapped the back of Shima's head, making him turn around. "Stop talking. Don't even open your mouth," I muttered. Bon and Rin started laughing.

I rolled my eyes and sat down in between Koneko and Bon. "What are you guys doing?" I asked, looking at the papers they had in front of them. Rin got up and left, leaving me, Bon, Shima, Koneko, Takara and the hooded kid.

Before Bon could answer, a scream could be heard. "What the hell?" I stood up and ran into the hallway, where I saw Rin and Shiemi running into the bathroom. I ran in after them and saw Paku laying on the floor in front of a demon. The demon was staring at Rin, giving me time to think of something. "Rin, distract it while I grab Paku," I whispered. "Why?" Rin asked. "Just do it," I muttered.

"Hey! Over here!" He yelled, running to the opposite side of the bathroom. The demon followed, giving me time to grab Paku. I picked her up and brought her over to Shiemi and Izumo. "Shiemi, could you bring out some aloe?" I asked, looking at Paku's wounds. Shiemi nodded and picked up her familiar, asking it for aloe. The little dude brought out some aloe and Shiemi applied it to Paku's wounds.

"Great job!" I exclaimed. Shiemi blushed and nodded, smiling slightly. "Okay, keep an eye on her. I'll go help Rin," I said, standing up. I ran over to Rin, only to see that the demon had disappeared. I patted his back. "Great job!"

Yukio then ran in with the rest of the students. "Don't worry, Yuki. We took care of it," I said. He nodded and checked over Paku.

I noticed Izumo sitting by herself. I walked over to her and knelt down so I was eye level to her. "Izumo, what's wrong?" I asked softly. "I couldn't help her..." she said. "She's probably dead because of me!" I shook my head. "No. You had nothing to do with this. It was that demon," I said. "I'm a terrible friend."

I grabbed her hands and she looked into my eyes. She had tears running down her face. "Listen. You're not a terrible friend. Paku looks up to you, Izumo. You're her best friend, nothing less. She appreciates you."

Izumo stopped crying and smiled slightly. "Thanks," she said. I nodded. "Can you do something for me?" I asked. She looked at me in confusion. "What?" She asked. "Could you try to be a little nicer to Shiemi? She's looking for friends. I would be her friend, but that's kind of weird for your teacher to be your friend.."

"I'll try, but being nice isn't really my strongsuit," Izumo said. I nodded and stood up. I got a text message from my best friend.

I'm not coming over. Shouldn't you be in school? -me

Whatever. I have to stay here to actually teach -me
