THE QUEEN IS DEAD. Those words were simply painful, and continued to haunt Lucifer, but they were true. She had met her demise, and on top of the sadness and heartbreak he felt due to losing his wife — his soulmate — he felt guilt. And he felt regret, and anger, and disappointment. But above all, he hoped he could still hold Genevieve in his arms, kiss her fiery lips and listen to her darkened heart beat.
The Shedevil was gone, but a piece of her remained. Perhaps she could not be brought back from the death that embraced her a tad too hard, but she left behind a bunch of letters — all of them addressed to the Devil himself.
And it doesn't take Lucifer long to realize that those letters are the last thing he has of Genevieve, and that just as he's about to give in to the despair, heartbreak and hopelessness he feels, she is still reaching out to him and assuring that he is worthy of so much more.

Welcome to the (sad, heartbreaking) sequel of Killer Queen, which I just had to finally publish. I've been planning this ever since I ended Killer Queen, and now that season 3 of Lucifer is only a few days away, I'm missing Genevieve! This feels like the right time to do this, tbh. So here I am.
Basically, this is gonna be letters from Ginny to Lucifer — more specifically reasons why she loves him. And he finds them after she's gone. Although this is an AU of sorts, it does include spoilers for season 2 of Lucifer (possibly season 1 too) and definitely spoilers for Killer Queen. I'd recommend reading that one before this!
