I love you, because you are beautiful.
Not just on the outside — well, that too. I'll talk about that next. But you have what humans apparently call "inner beauty". You have a caring heart despite how many times you try to insist otherwise, and your mind works in the most magnificent ways. You feel deeply and with your whole soul. You are a complex, marvelous creature and I am lucky to witness such incredible glory before my eyes.
You're standing on the balcony, as I'm writing this. I think you have a cigarette in your hand. Frankly, I've never understood the allure of those things, but at least your smoke breaks are allowing me to write this. And may I say, as you stand there, looking at the colorful sky as the sun goes down, you look beautiful. Far more beautiful than the horizon. And I will never ever admit this out loud, but even my crown and throne come in second compared to you.
You are not beautiful only because of your dark eyes and your perfectly shaped lips. You are beautiful because you have emotion, you have heart, you have soul. You think deeply. You shine brightly. You embrace darkness. You welcome pain. You fight. You love and you radiate and you could not be more perfect. You might carry a heavy heart and dark thoughts within you, but they are a part of you, one that completes you. You wouldn't be you without them.
