She slowed down and after having a long conversation with Epps she was more calm.

"So why'd you bring me along?" He asked

"Seeing a car with no driver will be questioning, won't it?" She asked

He nodded "Yeah, I guess youre right. But you gotta let off on your parents a little, they're just being protective."

"And the fact they were spying?" She asked annoyed

"It's a form of protecting, Sharpnight. Look, Smokescreen might seem like a good kid but... He might not of told you guys everything."

"Are you accusing him of being a decepticon?" She frowned

"Hey, I didn't say that." He pointed at the steering wheel "I'm just sayin, you guys haven't known him for long. He could be a spy that isn't on either side, a rogue 'bot."

"He doesn't seem like a mech that would do that." She mumbled

"Maybe not, just gotta be careful, Sharpnight. We know you like 'em and you don't have much to choose from but..." He shrugged "Why not Wheeljack or one of the twins or Bumblebee?"

"For one, Bumblebee is like an uncle, and it would seem wrong and Wheeljack... Hasn't been around long enough. And second, both of those twins drive me nuts."

Epps chuckled but nodded "I guess you got a point.. Or what about Mir-?"

"No! No way!" She snapped without him even finishing his name.

"Come on, he's got that accent and-"

She made a noise every time he tried to speak after a few minutes "No,no. Just.. No."

He chuckled but put his hands up "Fine. Fine. Atleast tell me why."

"No." She muttered

"What about Optimus?" He smirked

She slammed the brakes she opened the door "Get out."

"What? Aw, come on." He looked at the dashboard "don't do this, Sharpie."

She shut the door "Don't you ever suggest me to anyone again. That wasn't cute at all, Epps." She scowled

"Alright, I'm sorry. I guess that was a little overboard."

"A little?" She questioned

He sighed "Ok, a lot."

"Yeah." She mumbled

"Look, how about we'll give your doors a scrub when we get back, sound good?"

"Yeah." She agreed as they turned around heading back to base, she finally realized how long they've been out.

She drove down the long open road and finally approached the base and drove in, opening the door allowing Epps to jump out and walk a few steps back to a safe distance before transforming. She stretched out her arms but was greeted by the twins as they rolled over

"How do we make you crazy?" Sunstreaker asked

She blinked but frowned "You're demonstrating it right now."

Bumblebee rushed over, taking her by the arm, beeping rapidly. She couldn't understand and slipped her arm from him "Whoa, calm down, Bee, what's the matter?"

"They were listening in again.." Smokescreen mumbled softly as he leaned against the wall

Fury raged in her spark as she pushed the twins aside and stalked up to Ratchet as he stepped back. She glared at him

"When will you say no?"

"I cannot rebel against a direct order, Sharpnight." He said in a mumble more than a grumble.

She glanced around to see Wheeljack had been leaning against the wall with Smokescreen with Mirage standing within 10 feet of her and Ratchet. Bumblebee had stayed where he was since he tried to stop her and Optimus stood by the groundbridge with Barricade.

They were all here and she had no back up, maybe Smokescreen and Bumblebee but against the twins, Mirage, Barricade, Optimus and Wheeljack, they were no help.

She wanted to be so angry at Optimus but it would only seem awkward now to accuse him.

She balled her servos with a scowl before turning around as Sunstreaker rolled infront of her "Where you goin, Sharpie?"

She just moved past him as he grabbed her arm from behind, her optics narrowed as she whipped around, grabbing his arm in turn and turned him around before slamming him down on the ground with his arm behind him, she transformed her arm into a gun and put it up to his helm

He whined at the appendage pinned behind him with her ped putting on pressure forcing him to the ground and cold steel pressing against his helm

"Don't ever grab me like that." She hissed "Do you understand?"

"Yes, ma'am.." He whimpered

She left go of him and frowned, but next thing she knew was getting a punch thrown at her, she took the blow from Sideswipe as she stepped back with a growl seeing he cracked her visor.

He looked a little surprised but then frowned

She realized this would be a cage fight and transformed her arm back and took a swing at him, landing a blow on his chasis, and sent a swift roundhouse kick into his side knocking him off his peds

He bent over holding his side but glanced up and jumped up throwing an uppercut as all she could do next was squint as she fell back the brightness bothered her sensitive optics and she looked over to see her visor was knocked clean off revealing her magenta optics.

A few if them gapped as they never seen her optics before. She looked at Sideswipe but then that's when the real heat started brewing, blow after blow on each other, neither was giving up, even though she could hardly see she never gave up.

The fight lasted a few more minutes until Sideswipe swung and his fist collided with the side of her face, she could barely see now but was now down an optic. This wasn't going so well so instead she tried to retreat, but as she made a run outside, as soon as she reached outside the base, she yelled in agony to see the sun was still out, the sun was much brighter than inside the base.

Ratchet ran out to see she was thrashing side to side with her servos covering her optics. He quickly pushed her back inside but the light was already blinding from being outside, her optics hurt, almost burned.

Prowl ran in with Ironhide, Prowl gaped to see Sharpnight's visor on the floor and Energon spilled from the wounds of the 'bots

"What is going on?" Sideswipe asked seeing her thrashing and holding her face

"She has very sensitive optics." Ironhide frowned "was she exposed to outside?"

"She ran outside, the sun is still out" Lennox nodded

Ratchet moved her to the medical berth with her still putting up a fuss, "Sharpnight, you must remove your servos." He said

"It burns!" She growled

After the fuss, he made her go to her room and rest with the lights off.

"Sideswipe, what were you thinking?" Sunstreaker frowned

"She could be temporarily blind, for a few hours at least. Her optics need to be rested for now. She's vulnerable to light without a visor." Ratchet explained to the others

"So that's why she really wears that?" Smokescreen asked

"Yes. The visor makes it darker for her optics." Ratchet nodded "Once it was removed, her optics were vulnerable to the light. We'll need to wait until tomorrow to get the results back. So she must not be disturbed."
