good-bye and hello

Today is valentine's day so that meant my foods class was gonna make valentine's treats, it was nice that my boyfriend was in my class so we could work together we ended up making heart cookies we each others name on it. Later in the day at lunch i was talking to eric when my phone rang "hello oh yes ill be there in five minutes" eric wanted to follow me i said "no it was just Rae about girl stuff" i was walking outside when calix grabbed my hand we started walking when i told him the i had a surprise for eric. I saved enough money to fly eric's boyfriend out for a few days. He thought that was the nicest thing i could do for my friend. When mason and i walked up eric started to tear up and ran to him calix hugged me and said " you're awesome you know that right". The next day calix was home sick so i was hanging out with Rae i walked up to her i was in a very good mood because it had been 3 months since i started dating calix and Rae and i hadn't hung out in a while then she told me she was moving and i started to tear up because she was the one who helped me get over my social anxiety and be able to actually talk to calix. She didn't know i was a vampire so i said ok before you go come with me so we got on the bus and i got off at her stop and said "ill give you a piggy back ride up my hill" she laughed and said " you can try" she got on by bak we ran up through the woods to my house where is said to her " im a..." "vampire" she said " i kinda guessed that" later that night i was texting calix when i got a call from Rae she was in a panic because her house had caught on fire she was running up to my house i ran down to meet her and she started crying when i got there I carried her back to my house. When we got there I asked if she was ok and how i could help she said i couldn't do anything. I hugged her and said my door is always open if you wanna live here. "Beep" my phone went off it was calix I ignored it which I never did the next day at school he ran up to me and said "you're ok when you didn't answer me last night I got worried" I smiled and kissed him on the cheek and said "thank you for caring".later in the day I got a text from Karle saying he didn't like calix and didn't trust him. And wanted me to dump him. My response was "how could I dump my boyfriend who I love". Karle got so pissed at that i was dating Calix that one day he messaged me and asked me out i said i have a boyfriend remember you don't like him. "Fine" karle said i walked towards the bus after that. I sat by Rae because i needed advice. She looked at me and asked "what now" i needed to find a way to get karle to get over me. She said " it's a crush it will be over soon" i laughed she got off and i went to the front of the bus calix followed i didn't really notice him until my stop when he got off with me i said " oh i forgot you were coming over i have been distracted all day" he was alright with it after our dinner he went home. That night i had a dream about dating karle. When i woke up i thought what does this mean i put the thought in the back of my head and went on getting ready for school, as i was getting ready i got a text from calix so i went to see him when i was waiting for the bus he told me that he was moving to Manitoba for a year because his dad got transferred. I said "well you kinda have to go with your family" we sat together on the bus like always he said "well if i have to go we need to text every day have a long distance relationship". I just looked at him and said " do you really think that will work" he said "anything to still be with you" i kissed him on the cheek and said "good-bye" i walked away with tears in my eye. I bumped into karle and plopped my head on his shoulder he just stood there until i was okay. I looked him in the eyes they twinkled. Then out of nowhere i kissed him my face in shock i ran to catch the bus grabbed eric said ur "coming over" he just agreed i " i kissed karle" i said his response was "about time" i message calix that night and said "i'm sorry about today can we please try again while you're here" he said " i love you of course" we meet outside waiting for the bus the next morning we sat together and when we got off the bus at school karle was waiting outside the bus with flowers i knew the were for me when i got off i held calix's hand and kept walking karle just looked at us i fake laughed told calix to put his arm around me he did. The bell went i went to my class calix walked me eric saw us holding hands and said broke-up my ass, i said "i didn't want to see karle" eric just looked at me and said "he's in your next class" "ill go home sick duh" i said " and come back for 4th block" eric said sarcastically. I just stared at him and murmured "yes". At lunch i went to my friends and i explained the incident the said " do you like him" with a blank expression i said "No im dating Calix why would i like Karle" "whatever" they said. The next day when Calix and i were talking when i got a text from Eric saying s.o.s " i have to go its an emergency but ill see you on the bus" i kissed him on the cheek and ran off i found eric and said "are you ok what happened who do i have to kill" eric simply replied " oh its about..." "dont you dare say karle im tired of you trying to set me up with him im dating the guy i had a crush on im happy" eric said "h-he-hes ch-cheating on you" " how could you say that just because i'm not dating the guy you want to doesn't mean you can make stuff up" i jumped in the air and flew away flying past Karle who said "can we talk" i looked at him and flew away. Passing Calix i said ill text you later. I got home and saw there was a text from karle i wanted to ignore it but something i my mind made me answer him i said " sorry for today something happened i didn't mean to be rude" he said it was ok. He asked if we could hang out being the person i was i said yes. Being in grade 11 meant i needed to plan for grad the next year karle was grading this year or so i thought but no hes coming back the year of my grad oh well i still have Calix... no i-i won't he's moving. The day came the last day of school...the last day with Calix. I was in a really depressed mood all day but my friends did their best in making me laugh. Calix didn't come to school but we did plan to meet before he left i asked to be dropped off at his house when i was about to knock i heard someone yell " you have no idea how hard this is for her" i looked around the cornor and see Calix yelling at his sister because he wanted to hang out with me one more time when he wasnt done packing. He loked at me and ran up to me i simply said "good-bye" and started walking back down the hill. The next day i watched the moving trucks come watch Calix get in his parents car and drive away. I called Eric and said " hey can we hang" eric said "we will tomorrow at the argiculture summer program". " oh ya with all the drama about Calix moving i forgot about the summer program" i said. Eric said " forget him girl he was no good anyway he didnt even like you before you started dating he was a dick towards you". I just had a depressed look on my face. The next day the summer program started. The first day eric and i went we were working just us when i saw a kid fall i asked if he was ok then after that we all started talking his name was Bently i had a weird feeling about him but i thought that i was just being paranoid i went on with the day shortly after benty fell over i asked if he was ok he said he was then went on to say to eric and i " i wanted to talk to you guys but my social anxiety was like nope" it had been a few hour when i looked at the time it was 11:15 am the teacher called lunch after i put my phone in my pocket. Eric , Bently , and I walked to eat lunch Eric and I were talking when out of the corner of my eye i saw Bently heat up his veggie lasagna with his hand i turned around and said " i saw that oh i knew you had powers" ben just looked at me and said "you're seeing things" i said " oh no im not i saw you heat up your food with your hand" eric thought i was crazy and i said " no bently has powers i saw it why don't you believe and you why are you lying" they looked at eachother then back at me and bently rolled his eyes and said " fine tricia you win i do have powers i have freezing and fire powers" i just looked at him and i said " oh i so want to rub it in your faces that i knew that but i wont". The boys just looked at me and started to laugh.
