Hi, dearies,

Surprise!!! I don't how I have the courage to come here to update this fic after sooooooooooo long, but my muse, that is the most flickery thing in the universe, told me to post this, which is like half of what should have been the next chapter. Rest assured that even if it takes me an eternity I'll finish this story. I love it and I won't give up on it. Ever! Just you need to have a lot of patience with me and my muse.

Before I forget.. Thank you Julie for beta-ing. You're so sweet!

I warn you, this is short but it's something! Enjoy!

PS; I'm leaving you something extra. A video I did for this fic. I hope you like it.

The biting scent of industrial disinfectant went straight to his nostrils, as soon as he made his way inside the medical center. He did his best to pass unnoticed, still many people recognized him. It was one of the disadvantages of being so connected to the Pakhan. Most of the staff at the clinic was a member of, or related somehow, to the Bratva. They knew who he was, a slight inconvenience when he was trying to be as inconspicuous as possible.

In spite of that fact, not everything was lost. His presence there was easy to explain. Oliver wouldn't raise any suspicion if he said he required inspection of his wound, or he was there visiting Niko in the ICU. He had other intentions, though. He was there to infiltrate and bug Dr. Ivo's office. From what Felicity had found out, which mirrored Oliver's own instincts, Anton Ivo wasn't the traitor but a scapegoat.

It was his second stop of the day, after planting the tech Felicity gave him in the doctor's home and on his personal computer. Oliver made sure that Dr. Ivo was busy, treating a patient on the E.R., before heading to the stairs up to the second floor where his office was located.

Slipping into the doctor's private office without being seen wasn't easy, but luck was on his side. He had a clear view of the doctor's assistant, sitting at her desk, from the stairs exit where he waited out of her sight. She was alone, and there were no patients waiting. At the moment in which the secretary had left her desk to do only God knows what, Oliver walked through the hallway, picked the door lock until it opened, and went into the office.

He didn't waste time and planted the surveillance devices. When Oliver got out a few minutes later, the camera hidden in the vent would provide a clear picture of everything happening in that office. The concealed microphones around the room and inside the telephone receiver would let Oliver hear every conversation that took place there. Last, and most importantly, the spy software installed on the computer would help Felicity to keep better track of Ivo's movements on the net.

Ivo was the only certain and reachable connection —even if it was without his knowledge— to the traitor, and Oliver wasn't going to waste the chance to use the doctor's involuntary participation to his advantage. Oliver needed to be a step ahead. If not, he was at risk of losing everything.

His exit was as uneventful as his entry. Oliver went back down through the stairs again, and he was surprised when he got the bottom floor. He almost ran into Sara and Nyssa who were stepping out of the elevator. They were leaving the hospital.

"Sara?"

She turned her head toward him and her face brightened. The soft, happy smile on her face was a stark contrast to the stern expression that Nyssa had, standing behind her. "Hey, Ollie."

"Are you leaving?" he asked them. "I thought both of you were on duty keeping an eye on Niko."

"We were," Nyssa said.
