Zoey's P.O.V.
     ~~~~~~~~~~
     I get in my car with Quinn, after school, and situate my things and hers in the backseat. We sit and talk for a minute, waiting for everyone to leave so it's not so crowded, when we see someone running towards my car from the stairs.
I immediately turn my head to Quinn and raise an eyebrow in concern. She just shrugs back, obviously not knowing what the heck is happening either. So, I turn back, and not knowing why, I roll down my window.
   When the person approaches me a little closer, I smile, seeing that it's the boy- I mean Jackson, standing outside my car. I turned to Quinn, still smiling, when he slows to a stop and tries to catch his breath.
     "Hey," Jackson paused, taking deep breaths. "I had to catch you before you left." He put his hand to his head, running his fingers through his hair it get it out of his face. Once he could breathe again, he reached into his pocket and smiled to me, pulling out a small piece of paper.
"I know we don't know each other very well," Jackson looked down at the paper as I slightly gaped my mouth, almost knowing what he was about to say. "but I just want you to have my number."
     I froze immediately. Jackson gulped at my reaction and I darted my eyes back to him in realization. Right, you're in the middle of a conversation. "Uh, sure that sounds great." I forced a smile and took the paper out of his hand. He was great but I didn't know exactly how I felt just yet, so I decided I'd just have to find out.
     "Really?" Jackson smiled to me, "Well, hit me up later, alright?" His smile was so charming as he walked away.
     I rolled up my window as fast as possible before-
     "AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" (As I was saying) Before Quinn did that. "He likes you!"
     "Yeah, yeah. He's super cute, and he's sort of my type. You know, he's not very stuck up and all." I smiled at Quinn.
     "He is also brave to go ahead and give you his freaking number you like that," she blushed a little to herself and I smiled, nodding it away as I pulled out of the parking lot.
Do I like Jackson that way?
~~~~~~

     I jumped onto my bed and pulled out my phone, holding it out in front of my face. Then, it buzzed and it scared the crap out of me, so I dropped it on my face.

     I groaned to myself before pulling my phone away and checking my new message.

     "Hey, Zo. You feeling ok?" It was a text from Wyatt.

     "Oh, yeah! I forgot to thank you about earlier. Thanks!" I smile deeply, knowing that I cared, but brushed it off... as much as I could.

     "You're welcome, but how'd you find out about that?"

     "Oh, I was in the nurse when I woke up and met some kid named Jackson. He's really nice, he said he saw the whole thing and explained to me what happened." It was a long text, but he's use to that from me.

     "Oh, gotcha. We still good for Friday?"

     "Wouldn't miss it."

     "Great. See ya tomorrow."
