So, since yesterday didn't go very well, Wyatt picked where we went to study today. After the bell rang, he texted me from across the hall, which I sense will become normal now.

"Meet me at the park, I know where we can go so nobody will see us today." And just as I did yesterday, we gave a nod and we were off to our study place.

Once I pulled up at the park, I got out of my car with my book bag and met Wyatt at his car.

"You're sure nobody will find out we're here?" I really don't want him to have to up his game from kissing me yesterday.

"Yes, I'm positive. But you don't even know where we are going yet?"

"No, but I mean where can we go?"

"You'll see. I had to be picky today, considering I was let off the hook yesterday. I had to tell them I had an awesome hookup with a girl from geometry." I laughed while Wyatt explained to me his cover-up story.

"Yeah, you better have picked a good spot."

"I did. Follow me, and keep a low profile."

Wyatt pulled a bag out of his trunk as we talked and then closed it, motioning for me to follow. We walked across the park and I just kept asking him where we were going.

"Can you get any more annoying? Like, how much more clear can I be?" Wyatt complains about my curiosity as we stop at the edge of the park.

"You led me to a trail in the woods!" I am not looking forward to this.

     "Yeah, what?"

"We are not studying in the woods. Are you crazy!"

"It's not as bad as you think. Get ready, Pretty-Girl." Wyatt laughs at me, so I give him a simple eye-roll and follow. And after ten minutes of walking, I regret the part about following him.

"Are we almost there yet, Wyatt?"

"Almost, will you stop complaining for a minute?"

"I don't want to walk anymore." I look up from the ground and pull my bag up on my shoulder to see that we are walking along a creek. The creek is widening as we walk, so I look further along the path and it opens up into a pond.

"Woah, this is pretty." I'm almost in awe as I look up. There is a small waterfall coming off of a cliff. The water is blue and clean, but it looks like nobody even knows this place is here.

"Yep. I found it one day after school."

"How do you just find something like this?"

"Where I used to live, I loved walking in the woods. But here, there's not much around my house, and this is the only place I saw forestry. So, after school one day, I stopped by and peeked around."

"Okay wait, this is great, but where are we actually going to put our stuff?"

Wyatt reaches down in his bag and pulls out a blanket. "I got us covered."

We throw our bags down and pull out our books, as we do every day. But it's different being out here. The first thing I notice is how peaceful it is.

"So today, I was wondering if we could work on reviewing some things. I didn't pick up much from the beginning of the year and I didn't pay much attention in class." Wyatt is sitting cross-legged and flipping through the pages in his book, while I lay on my belly and haven't even pulled mine out yet.
