It was a beautiful day....sunny as well as partly cloudy....I could here to the chirping of birds. I enjoyed this for a mili second as I woke up and I recollected that today is the BIG day. I have to reply to Jacob. I went inside the bathroom . Washed my face, took bath,wore the school dress, applied mascara and foundation, tied my hair(a cute plat in the side).
I reached school..Rose,Bell,Jasmine and Renesa were waiting for me eagerly. I went inside the class...saw other boarders but not Jacob. I didn't know what was going on. I asked Jack where he was. Jack replied "that he went for his cricket practice and he'll be returning in a while."
At that moment I had mixed feelings I wanted to meet him as well as I was feeling too shy to see him. So Maths class was going on when Jacob came. I don't know what was going in my mind I just sat and went under my desk to hide myself ( I know this was too stupid of me) . So then regained my senses and sat on my seat. He was sitting on his. I saw him , he saw me ....we smiled at each other. As the class ended he called me outside the class and asked what my answer was. I replied I'll be telling you in the break. Then we went in the class. After some time it was the period before the break...it was a free period. So all the girls gathered around my desk and all the guys around his. They were teaching us how to behave. Like seriously...we are grownups for godsake we know how to behave on a date...okay! I know it wasn't an actual date but whatever it was we know how to do stuff. So the class ended. My heart was beating really fast.
So this is how it went:
He: hey
I: hi
He: so? Hows life?
I: good...
He: nice nice
(Awkward silence.....at this moment all our from behind)
He : so what do you want to become when you grow up?
I: umm...I want to become a doctor...You? ( I know I know this discussion was not appropriate for the moment)
He: ohh doctor....my parents are also doctors, I want to become a cricketer.
I : oh thats nice.
He: so Bell told me you aren't there on any social media.
I: Yeah Im not on Insta or Fb but I'm there on Snap.
He: okay.
( again awkward silence)
He: So nice talking to you.
Me: yeah same.
