Chapter 1

"I don't get why we have to learn this" I said groaning and throwing my head back.

"If you wanna graduate then you have to. No choice" Luke said

Luke and I had the same math class and we are best friends. We've been best friends since 2nd grade when I moved to Australia from England to be closer to family. I was the new girl at the school and all of the boys and girls we're making fun of me when Luke stood up for me. We've been best friends from then till now, our freshman college year.

"Well when the hell am I gonna need to find the value of x in real life?"

" I don't know Kassidy. Now shut up and listen before you get us in trouble" he said chuckling

The bell rung about 15 minutes later and school was over for the day.

"So what are you doing later tonight?" Luke asked while we were walking to my car

"Probably nothing. I thought I had plans with Ryan but he had to cancel"

Ryan was my boyfriend and we've been dating for about a year. I would see him around school and I thought he was pretty cute. One of my friends set up a date for us and it went really well. we've been dating ever since.

"Well you know that I won't have anything so we could get a movie or something"

"Ok but your buying" I said smirking at him.

We got into my car and headed towards my house. Our car rides are always fun with Luke singing the lyrics to almost all of the songs on the radio. It would be different if Luke sucked but he was actually good. Like really good. He and a couple of his friends had a small band and they were pretty good too.

We pulled into my driveway and Luke hoped out of the car. We walked into my house and plopped our books on the table and say down on the couch.

"I'm hungry" Luke whined while getting up to look for food

"Well if we are having a movie night, then we could get pizza and make popcorn" I said pulling out my phone to order

"Sounds good to me. I don't feel like going anywhere anyway" Luke said while shoving pretzels into him mouth that he got from the kitchen, falling onto the couch

It was now 8 o'clock and Luke and I were sitting in front of the TV of my small apartment that my parents bought me for my 19th birthday present, trying to find a movie

We finally decided on We're the Millers even though we both have seen it already. I put some popcorn in the microwave and grabbed a box of pizza from the kitchen and sat down. I also grabbed some blankets and pillows since I knew that we'd both end up falling asleep at one point.

About halfway through the movie Luke and I were already losing focus on it by throwing popcorn at each other. After screwing around for about 10 minutes, we settled down and continued to watch our movie. I ended up falling asleep and so did Luke

The next morning I woke up and my head was resting on Luke's lap and his arm was around me. Luke looked really cute when he was sleeping actually.

I think Luke is a really attractive guy. He's fun to be around and is just a great guy, but I have Ryan and I'm extremely happy with him.

I snaked my way out of Luke's arm and got up to get some breakfast. I texted Ryan goodmorning and asked him if he wanted to hang out today

To Ryan:

Goodmorning sunshine! ;) are you busy tonight?

I put my phone in my pocket and continued to make some toast for breakfast. My phone went off with a new message from Ryan

Ryan:

Hey:) and yea um I have plans for tonight. Something came up

To Ryan:

Oh. Like what

Ryan:

Just some stuff

To Ryan:

Oh. Well ok :( I'll talk to you later

Recently Ryan has been really busy. I mean we both are in college and it's a lot more complicated than high school with more work and all that but he hasn't been like this earlier in the year and it's almost spring break. I trust Ryan and all that but this was just a little out of the ordinary for him.

I heard movement in the living room and saw Luke stiring and trying to wake up

"Well goodmorning beautiful" I said chuckling

"Oh shut up" he said in a deep morning voice

"Well what are you planing to do today?" He asked pulling himself up off the floor

"Nothing really. Shit, I have to run over to Ryan's to drop off some of his clothes he left here. I found them the other day. I'm sure he won't mind."

"Sounds fun. Well I'm gonna go home and take a shower then you can text me and you could hang out with me and the guys later. We're gonna hang out at my place later"

Luke has an apartment right under mine so it's pretty convienient for the both of us.

"Ok well I'll text you and let you know then" I said as Luke walked out the door.

Hey guys so I had to start a new story and I will be updating everyday like tho other one. Sorry this chapter was boring but It was a huge filler for the beginning. The next part will have some big part so make sure to read! also comment and vote too please!
