I didn't expect the guys to actually tell people about the party, but they did. Honestly it turned out pretty sick. Music was loudly playing, red and blue solo cups littered the counters, and people all over the place. Of course mainly the pool area.

I sat down at a table outside with a blue solo cup resting in my hand. I recently just got out the pool, needing a break from the closure.

My cup slipped from my hands and my instinct was to turn around and see who took it. I scolded the boy as he grinned at me.

"You're getting me a new drink, Finnegan." I sighed. I tapped my finger on the glass table as I turned back around.

"Whats wrong?" He sat down on the chair next to me. I sighed again before taking my cup from him and taking a sip.

"Nothing important." I raised the cup back to my lips and taking in the liquid.

"Now I know it is." His grin left and his face showed concern.

"Its just complicated, kind of." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Everything's complicated." He sighed dramatically and leaned against me. I pushed him off me with a laugh.

"Shawn and I haven't been together." His whole face contorted shock at the information.

"This whole time?" I nodded my head.

"We decided to just stay friends since it wasn't really working out." I handed him the cup letting him have the rest of it.

"Then if you both agreed then what's the problem?" He looked over at me with soft eyes.

"I don't want to seem like I'm moving on too fast." I looked over at him. Our eyes met and my heart races with each passing second as we get closer. "You still owe me my drink." I cleared my throat.

"Um, right." He stood up quickly. I looked down as he left. I played with my hands pretending that nothing even happened.

"I know something you probably don't realize, Add." I smiled at Shawn as he came up. My face shown confusion and I stood up. We walked closer to the pool before starting our conversation.

"And that would be..." I forwarded what he was saying. He stuck his hands in his front pockets of his shorts.

"That Jack likes you." He said straight to me. I was caught off guard from his words.

There is no way Jack likes me. After all we've been really close friends. We pratically told each other everything beside all the pranks and arguments.

Then again just ten minutes ago it seemed a lot more than just that. It couldn't have been right. Even if it's true it would be weird. We both recently got out of our relationships.

"No way Mendes." I pushed him, jokingly. Only maybe just a little too hard for him to lose balance. I busted out laughing as soon as fell in the water.

"Addison," He sighed annoyed getting out, "Seriously though he likes you. I saw what happened."

"You did?" He nodded at me, confirming it.

"It doesn't matter. We broke up and I want to be friends, nothing more." He assured me. I looked a little past him and gasp.

"Thanks Shawn, but I have to make sure Hayes doesn't set the stove on fire." I panicked. I quickly made my way past the croud of people that had quickly decreased and inside the house.

No way am I about to let history repeat itself. I just hope I get there before one of the boys do. Now that the night is getting late and a lot of people had left, it would be easier to see Hayes playing in the kitchen.

"Turn it off Hayes." I said catching his attention.

"I just want a grilled cheese. Everyone ate the food and they pratically all left anyways." He shrugged leaving the stove on. I turned the stove off and he glared at me.

He turned it back on, fire igniting and reached over for the rag. He smirked at me. "See I have it all under con- not again."

__

"Did I or did I not say to turn it off." I said through gritted teeth to Hayes. He frowned at me before opening his mouth to speak, only I stopped him not wanting to here a word.

This is the second time this idiot almost set the house on fire. I really need to restrict him from touching anything.

The Jacks were covering everything with the firemen and the whole gang stood in the front scattered talking to each other. Everyone left as soon as they heard the word fire.

Hayes walked away from me and over to Tia. I looked around realizing that some of the group has left already. Wasn't this a great way to end a party.

"Are you okay?" I turn around to see Jack behind me. I nodded my head. "At least the house didn't burn down."

"Yeah because Jack would've murdered us on the spot." I turn facing the house again. Jack stood right next to me.

"I thought it would've ended a little different." I laughed following by him.

"Well with Hayes around its always the same." I couldn't help but think about what Shawn had said back at the pool, but being the idiot I am insisted on bringing something else up.

"I actualltly feel bad about Madison." I said facing him.

"I wouldn't. I'm over her." He shrugged it off.

"I know she deserved it and what-not, but she was a friend." I couldn't help but feel a little guilty. I know she was a fake friend, but she was fun to be around.

"I know, but seriously she isn't one to hang out with anymore."

"Yeah I know." I looked at the ground.

"It doesn't matter. Relationships end for reasons." He wrapped his arm over my shoulders. Not in any way other than a friend way.

We walked back inside the house once we got the message it was clear to go in. We walked down the hall in silence. Stopping at my bedroom door, I open it.

"Thanks for the escort." I said about the close the door behind me. I opened it slowly sticking my head out "Goodnight Gilinsky." I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Yeah Goodnight." He said before I lightly closed the door. Mayve I shouldn't look into anything from what Shawn said.

I mean its probably just some theory. He said he was over her, not into someone else. Besides he's just being my friend. The least he deserved for everything was a simple kiss on the cheek.

It isn't like it ment anything. It most likely won't and will be something that just happened. Even if we almost just kissed at the party. It would ve weird hearing the sister dating her brothers best friend anyways.

This sucked chicken balls okay. This was just something and I guess I'm not that happy with it. My mind wasn't in the right set to make this better, but I'm lazy to fix it.
