tyler felt his lips for what seemed like the thousandth time today.

the lingering feeling of warmth, the pressure, and the taste of the older man.

doe-eyes shut tight, taking skin between teeth before slowly letting it go. his cheeks were flushed, high upon his bones, and the tips of his fingers grow with shutters. the honey hue remembers the delicate touch from those big, lingering hands, as they pinned him to the forest green door. memory heavenly haunting, and his body trembling for the feeling to come back once again.

tyler desperately missed joshua.

his spectacles fogged up, eyes widening once he noticed, and with trembling fingertips, tyler brushed upon the thin wires of them, cleaning off the lens delicately. the fawnlette's white turtleneck felt tight, almost suffocating, congested in the air around him. the wood seemed to creak, and the floorboards shook. though his imagination stood as he could feel his nose sniffle.

he's been feeling like this since he's woken up with a sore throat. daisy comforting him by her chin on his chest and soft whimperings. even getting in front of his feet when he tried getting ready for work. now, she just lays by his feet, peeking up at him whenever she gets the chance.

the honey hue wasn't having it though, he needed to be in work constantly, or else how were they going to pay the bills?

so, with hot tea by his side, and crackers to fill his disintegrating appetite, he sat on the wooden stool with a blank expression as he read upon words of semblance.

it was a quiet morning, except for the constant blizzarding wind that fell upon today, and the constant, same old noisy heater that spread nothing but ruckus for the soft soul.

tyler sighed.

eyes drooping from the warmth and by the words engulfing his mere being, he could feel his head loll.

then, it wasn't so warm anymore, a chill upon his fingertips, and the sound of chime caused him to twitch. the blurry sight of a man and a small smile forming the fawnlettes face as his sight began to grow clear, and gentle 'hello' upon his pink tongue.

joshua looked so heavenly and gorgeous from head to toe. with a coat wrapped around his broad shoulders, and hair frizzled from the wind. his cheeks lightly dusted with pink, and chapped lips forming out a delicate 'good morning.'

"jun' not with you today?"

there was a soft ding as the forest green door closed, warmth enclosing the small space around them, and then that soothing blue voice that made shivers run down tyler's spine.

"not today, she's with her mother for the week."

a sniffle.

spectacles slowly making their way down the slope of tyler's nose.

the cute brunet making a plump pout, and joshua giving him the sweetest grin.

"i know, i know, but she needs her mother sometimes." joshua trailed off. "maybe it'll give us time to bond, yeah?"

if tyler's cheeks didn't redden from the chills in his bones, they certainly were now.

it didn't pass by him, joshua caught on as he got closer and closer to the oak desk, noticing the soft huff and cherry cheeks blooming in pink, traveling down his delicate neck.

"are you sick, ty?"

tyler looked up with those sweet, doe-eyes and gave him a little giggle. "i believe so, but i'm alright! i have tea with me, and daisy cuddles whenever i want."

joshua didn't know how the boy could be so optimistic about everything.

"tyler..." the older brunet sighed, leaning on the desk before him, and meeting eyes with the fawnlette. "you should be in bed getting rest, not up and about, you're gonna get yourself even sicker."

those pure eyes a bit stunned as joshua comforted his warm hand on tyler's cherry cheek, sneaking his fingers under tyler's turtleneck, then finally on his forehead.

joshua tsked, looking worried by the second as tyler sat there breathing slightly heavy. a peer in sharp eyes around the shop, and his lavender voice seeping out of heavenly lips.

"we should get you back upstairs, yeah? there's no one coming in today, the snow is thick, and the concrete is too slippery."

"but–"

a stern look and tyler was shutting his plump lips, a soft sigh escaping them. daisy gave a small whine, a paw finding it's way to his ankle, and he was caving. the small brunet gave a delicate nod, and joshua gave him a lavender smile.

"i'll lock up for you, petal, just get your stuff together, and we'll head up."

there's was a tiny sigh, knowing he didn't have the energy
