An eye opens up beneath my dead sister. All I hear is someone shouting, "Kate! Don't do it!" It's too late. I suddenly appear in a room that was all white. In front of me stood a tall gateway.

I look around to see if there was anything else in this never-ending room. Nothing. Just me and a gate. The gate opens and I see hundreds of arm-shaped figures come out of it. They grab me and pull me in. I try to get out of the grasp, but it's no use.

I stop struggling and let them take me into this gate. There is a flash of light and suddenly it feels like everything there ever is to know is being poured into my mind all at once. I shriek in pain. It's too much for my mind to handle. The arms pull my towards a light and I struggle to get out of their grasp again.

I close my eyes because the light is too bright. I open my eyes and I'm back in the white room. But now, the arms are gone and there is some type of human looking object in front of me. I realize that it's... Me. It laughs, "So, did you have a nice trip here?" It grins and crosses its arms-just like I would.

"It was a little harsh. My head still hurts from it," I say rubbing my head. "That's what you think of the Truth? Harsh?" It puts its hand to its chin, "I've never heard anyone call it that before." It laughs a little.

"Well, you know the rules of Equivalent Exchange. I have to take something in return for your 'sister'," It says. "What do you want?" I ask curious to find out.

It shrugs and points to my right leg. My leg starts coming apart. I stare at it in disbelief. What the heck is going on? All of the pain comes rushing at once and I scream in pain. I fall, passing out.

No more than a minute later I wake up, in front of my sister. I guess I didn't really pass out then. I look at my right leg and it's gone, and I'm bleeding, badly. I look to see if it worked on my sister and what I see isn't even human. My eyes widen as I stare at what used to be my sister.

I can't find the words to explain how horrible this thing looked. I advert my eyes upward to see Mustang there, looking as terrified as I feel.

Some time has passed and I was now in my house and Riza is treating my wound. "I can't believe that you survived at this age," Mustang says. "I'd rather be dead than see what I had," I snapped at him.

The cloth burns against my new wound, but I grit my teeth to stop me from screaming or crying. Mustang says, "Well Im glad that you're alive Kate." Did I hear him correctly? He leaves the room and leaves Riza and me in there.

Riza doesn't look up from the now bandaged wound but says, "He does care about you. He's just too scared to admit to it. I just wanted you to know that." She gave a slight smile.

I try to smile but I can't. It's too hard for me to pretend that I'm happy when I just saw my five-year old sister die and then turn into that. I just nod to respond. "Would you like crutches to get around?" She asks. "If that's possible, then yes. Please," I say.

She nods then walks off. I swear to myself: 'I will get my revenge. I will get the man who took my sister away from me. I would do anything to get my revenge.'
