Saving The Ones You Care About

A/N Guys this is chapter 14! I haven't wanted to continue a book for so long! I honestly love this book and I hope you do too!

I wake up to the pain in my shoulder, "She's so stubborn." I hear. I pull against the restraints to gain their attention,

"What was that?" I growl, "Please say it to my face." Anya turns and faces me with wide eyes, "Oh so now you're not going to say anything. Coward." Lexa stands up and stomps right in front of me. She punches me and walks back to Anya,

"Why are you down here?" Anya asks,

"You already know? So why don't you tell everyone." I snap,

"You're right I do know. Your friend broke this morning. This is just for fun." Anya snaps,

"You're so much like him." I mutter,

"What was that?" She asks,

"Bellamy, one of the co-leaders of the camp. When he tortured Lincoln, he did some of it for fun. Must be something sky people and Grounders have in common. A thirst for revenge." Anya walks up and stabs my in the arm with a knife, "I hope it's poisoned, I would love to see your reaction when I live." I snap,

"Sadly my reaction will be the same every time I stab someone, happiness knowing they'll die." Anya snaps before pulling the knife out, "And I hope you die slowly in pain, from that poison." She smirks. I hoped after what happened with Lincoln I survive this too.

They torture me for hours until finally bringing me back to the cell. I see Murphy sitting there with his head hung low. I get chained up and the guard wraps my arm with clothing to stop the bleeding, "You're strong keep it up." He whispers before leaving.

"I'm so sorry Kali. I couldn't be strong. I was going to die." He cries,

"Hey, it's okay. You don't even know what's going on in the camp, you don't know the weapons we have. I forgive you. And so will Nova." I say. Eventually we both fall asleep.

Murphy's POV-

I wake up and see a Grounder in our cell trying to take Kali. I reach out to grab him, then I realize I'm not chained up. I quickly grab something beside me and hit the Grounder in the head. He falls to the ground unconscious,

"Kali, wake up!" I say shaking her, she slowly opens her eyes and notices me standing in front of her,

"How did you-" I cut her off,

"That doesn't matter come on. Before the Grounder wakes up." She moves her arms, but they are restrained, "What?" I walk to the wall and see that she's still chained up. I search the Grounder and I can't find any keys, "Damn it!" I say in frustration,

"Murphy, I'll be okay. Just go, leave before more Grounders come. Go warn the others." She pleads,

"No. I can't leave you here." I protest,

"Go see Nova. Tell them I'm okay and that the Grounders are planning something, please this might be our only chance. Take this, Bellamy and Clarke will know it's mine." She hands me necklace, "They know I'd never take it off unless it's important." She nods towards the door, "Go!" She yells. I run to the door and look back at her,

"I'll make you proud. I promise." I say before running.

I carry my feet as fast as I can, trying to find my way back to camp. I finally see the camp lights and run towards them. I hit a wire and fall over hitting my head. I hear a bunch of yelling and footsteps. I stay still, hoping it's not more Grounders,

"Murphy?" I hear Octavia's voice. They carry me into the drop ship and I lean up against the wall. I start coughing and I see blood on the floor. I cover my mouth as I cough again, I look at my hand and it's covered in blood. I see Bellamy walk in and I push myself against the wall as much as I can
