"I want to drive!" Sora yells at Donald as I sit and stair quietly outside the windshield. They have been fighting for the past twenty minutes and we have gotten nowhere. Finally Sora snatches the wheel and we are thrown into a random portal.
"Now see what you've done!" Donald yells at him.
I look at Donald. "You might as well just sit down and let him try it out. You never know, he may be good at driving this thing," I tell him. Donald glares at me but sits down anyway. I stand up and go sit by Sora. "You won't mind if I help, would you?" I ask him in a voice that dares him to tell me I can't help.
"Of course not. Your the champion when it comes to video games so you can probably drive it better than anyone can," Sora tells me.
"I'll only take over if you get into any trouble," I assure him with a satisfied grin on my face. In no time at all we arrive in a colorful world full of strange things.
As we all float down to the ground, a white rabbit runs by. "Oh, my fur and whiskers! I'm late! I'm late! I'm late! Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! I'm here, I should be there! I'm late! I'm late! I'm late! The queen, she'll have my head for sure!" it cries as it disappears around a corner.
I look at Sora. "What was that all about?" I ask him.
"I'm not sure. Do you think we should follow him?" he asks me.
I look at Donald and Goofy. "What do you guys think?" I ask them.
"It's better than just standing here all day! We have to find the king!" Donald tells me.
"Ok then, come on," I tell everyone, and go running after the rabbit. As we go through a door, we see that the white rabbit has shrunken down and is going through a small door.
We walk to the door and Sora squats down in front of it to get a better view. "How did he get so small?" he asks us.
"No!You're simply too big!" the door knob tells us.
"It talks!" I yell, falling on my butt.
"Must you be so loud? You woke me up," the door knob yawns.
"Good morning!" Goofy waves.
"Good night! I need a bit more sleep," the door knob yawns.
"Wait! What do we have to do to grow small?" Sora asks it.
"Why don't you try the bottle on the table?" it says. We turn to see a table pop up out of the floor with a set of chairs. On top of the table lie two bottles.
"Can this day get any weirder?" I ask Sora.
"Maybe it's normal for this world," he tells me. We walk over to the table and I pick up the blue bottle and read it.
"Drink me," I read out loud. I hold the bottle up to Sora. He takes it and drinks some. Suddenly, he begind to shrink. I smile and take a sip too. I shrink as well and Goofy and Donald follow. We walk over to the door, but it has fallen asleep again. "What now?" I ask. We look around, and I find a door hidden behind a bed.
"I guess one of us will have to grow taller so we can move it," I say. Sora is already on top of the table, orange bottle in hand. After he grows taller, he walks back over to the bed and pushes it. It, disappears back into the wall. "Well, that was weird," I say after Sora has returned small and is standing beside me. We walk through the door and I gasp.
Cards move out of the way as the white rabbit runs between them and runs up the stairs of a huge podium. I spot a little girl in a blue dress and she is standing before a lady dressed in red with a crown of gold on her head.
The rabbit plays a trumpet and then says, "Court is now in session!"
The little girl gasps. "I'm on trial? But why?" she asks.
"Her majesty, the Queen of Hearts, presiding!" the rabbit yells.
"This girl is the culprit. There is no doubt about it. And the reason is because I say so, that's why!" the queen yells.
"That is so unfair!" the little girl cries.
"Well, have you anything to say in your defense?" the queen asks.
"Of course! I've done nothing wrong!" the little girl states. "You may be queen, but I'm afraid that doesn't give you the right to be so mean!"
"Silence! You dare defy me?" the queen yells, banging on the table in front of her.
"You guys! We should help her out!" Sora tells us.
I start to agree, but Donald buts in. "Yeah, but the--"
"We're outsiders, so wouldn't we be muddling?" Goofy asks.
"Meddling!" Donald corrects him.
"Oh, yeah! And that's against the rules!" Goofy says.
"The court finds the defendant guilty as charged!" the queen yells. "For the crimes of assault and attempted theft of my heart, off with her head!"
"No! No! Oh, please!" the girl cries. Sora and I run forward.
"Hold it right there!" Sora yells.
"Who are you? How dare you interfere with my court?" the red queen asks.
"Excuse me, but we know who the real culprit is!" Sora tells her.
"Uh huh! It's the heart-" goofy says then covers his mouth.
"Anyway, she's not the one your looking for," I say.
"That's nonsense. Have you any proof?" the queen asks.
"Well, no but-"I say. They throw the girl into a small golden cage.
"Bring me evidence of Alice's innocents! Fail and it's off with all of your heads!" the queen yells. The cards usher us out of the room and into another. This one looks like a giant forest.
As we look around, a cat head appears. I scream and jump back. It disappears and reappears on a tree stump, this time with its body.
"Who are you?" Donald asks.
"Who, indeed? Poor Alice, soon to lose her head and she isn't guity of a thing." the cat tells us.
"Hey, if you know who the culprit is, why don't you tell us?" Sora asks it.
"The Cheshire Cat has all the answers but doesn't always tell. The answer, the culprit, and the cat all lie in darkness," the cat says as it disappears.
"Wait!" I yell.
"They've already left the forest, but I won't tell which exit. There are four pieces of evidence to find," we heard from a bodyless voice.
"Should we trust him?" Donald asks.
"To trust, or not to trust? I'll trust you to decide," the cat reappeared and then disappeared again.
"I think we should," I say. "He seems like a pretty trustworthy cat."
