Chapter 42 I love you

"Martin, stop it" I laughed as he carried me to the couch

"Nope, not till you tell me how you managed to beat me, once again."

"I'll never reveal my secret"

"Well then, I'll just tickle you right here" he said as he started tickling my waist

"Martinnnnnn, nnnn-not this again"

"Tell me" he commanded

"Nnnn-nneeeveeerr" I grabbed Martin's wrist and flipped him over, gaining the upper hand.

"I'm not ticklish so it won't work on me."

"Oh I have another idea" I whispered, leaning in. I trailed my hands along his chest which I knew would drive him insane.

"What are you doing?"

I gave him a light peck then moved up to his ears, by now he was breathing heavily.

"Sorry Martin. I don't win and tell" I said while whispering into his ear, getting off of him as fast as I could then locking myself in my room.

"Did you have to do that?" Yelled Martin.

Poor Martin, so gullible. We were on the tour bus and I had managed to beat Martin at Mortal Combat yet again.

Martin decided to crash my press tour to spend more time with me which I didn't mind at all. We spent every minute together. Jordy and the others however, were starting to get annoyed at our public display of affection, but we didn't care.

"Gotcha" yelled Martin from behind me, grabbing me by the waist as I realized that the window to my room on the tour bus was in fact opened.

"Now, where were we?" He said pulling me onto the bed.

"The press tour is officially complete" I said into the microphone

"I could not have done this without all of your love and support. Thank you so much to my team, my family and friends, Spinnin' and Revealed and to my boyfriend Martin. Without all of you, this would not have been possible. I thank all of you for the greatest first press tour of my life, and I hope for many more to come. It has been a long few weeks and we still have one more stop which is Tomorrowland, so let's get ready to party!!!" I yelled and everyone clapped.

We were currently at my house, celebrating the end of my very first press tour.

"I really loved how you saved the best for last in that thank you speech." Martin said, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Who says it was the best for last? You were the extra. The last resort" I said with a laugh.

"Very funny. Are you nervous for your performance at Tomorrowland in a few days?"

"Not really, more excited than nervous"

"You are going to do great. I believe in you."

"Thanks babe. How about you? Are you nervous?"

"Not really, I've done this a million times, remember?"

"That's right, I almost forgot that my boyfriend is Martin Garrix"

"Can we go somewhere private? I want to give you something."

"Martijn, the last time you said we'd go somewhere private, we ended up in the mile high club." I said with a chuckle.

"Those were good times." He said in remembrance.

"Well then?"

"Oh yeah, let's go" he said leading me upstairs

Once we got to my room, he pulled out a small box and opened it.

"Martin-"

"I wanted to get you something, that symbolizes the both of us. So I had this custom made."

I looked to see that he was holding a box containing a diamond encrusted necklace with the initials M and J on it. It was beautiful but I didn't understand.

"Martin, you got me a diamond Michael Jackson necklace?"

He bursted out laughing. What? Did I say something wrong?

"What is it? What's so funny?"

"Jess, not Michael Jackson. It's our initials M for Martijn and J for Jessica. Can you really be that daft?"

At that moment I felt like the stupidest person alive.

"This signifies you and I, against the world. It's cliche and cringe worthy, I know. But, I wanted to show you how special you are to me."

"Martin, it's beautiful. I love it."

"I love you." He said, using the L word for the first time.

"You don't have to say it back but I just want you to know how I feel." He said, taking my hand and giving me a kiss.

I wanted to say it back but I just couldn't. Not yet.

He put the necklace around my neck. Thankfully, I had forgotten to put on Julian's necklace today. That would have been awkward .

"Crap, when did I get dumb?" I chuckled remembering the few moments ago when I had a London Tipton moment.

"Well, luckily for you, school is starting soon. You won't have to be dumb for long. You'll be a senior right?"

"That's right. One more year and I'll be graduating high school. Of course you've already graduated haven't you?"

"Unfortunately I have"

"Unfortunately?"

"Well, if I hadn't then I would have transferred schools for my senior year, to be with you."

Words couldn't comprehend the love you felt for this boy sitting right in front of you.

"Now that I've said it, I want to just keep saying it. I love you, I love you, I love you, Jessica Anderson." He said and enveloped me in a huge hug. 

You hugged Martin back and you both just laid there, cuddling until you both fell asleep.
