"Maddie, I just don't see how this is going to work." I say, breathing out as my sister twists a lock of my hair around a curling iron.
She rolls her eyes lovingly at me in the mirror. "All you gotta do is make him regret not talking to you. Easy."
I raise my eyebrows. "He probably never liked me, so this is probably a wasted effort."
Maddie wags a finger before bopping me on the nose. I laugh. "As long as we make you look hot, nothing else matters." She then grins.
I continue laughing, and pick up Maddie's phone to find a text from Lauren displayed on the lock screen.
Lauren Tell Kenzie to wear a sundress, and make sure it's short ;)
I gasp incredulously. "So Lauren's in on this plan too?"
"Oh honey." Maddie smiles. "Everyone but Johnny is."
I close my eyes, thoughts racing.
Tonight is going to be very interesting.

"Mum!" I yell out loudly.
"I'm in the lounge!" She yells back.
I chuck my phone on my bed behind me, pull on some socks and slide down the hall to where my Mum is. "Do I have to go tonight?" I sigh upon reaching the doorway.
Mum's seated on the couch, legs folded up beneath her. She shuts her magazine and raises an eyebrow at me. "It's a family dinner, Johnny. That means everyone with the last name Orlando will be going."
