Wait? What trip!?

Back at school the teachers reminded us that it was our school trip.

Jeez I forgot all about that trip.

We're gonna be away for a few nights at some sort of place where they do outdoor activities.

Oka and I have been dreading the trip.

Then it occurs to me that I didn't have my suitcase and I had to go ask a teacher what to do.

"Don't worry your mother dropped it in earlier."

"Thank god for that."And I went and took my seat next to Oka on the bus.

I must have fell asleep on the bus and was woken up to giggles and people pointing at me.

I had no idea why I was so amusing until I caught sight of myself on the reflection of the bus window.

Someone had decided to pin cat ears to my head. I remembered what Budo had said to me the day before.

He wouldn't have done it. So who did?

"I'm sorry" Oka looked at me "I told them not to do it."

"Who did it?" I asked nearly in tears as everyone still laughed and pointed.

"One of the delinquents."

"Oh shit!" I buried my face in my hands.

"Hey what's going on?" Budo enquired from the other end of the bus.

"Someone pinned cat ears on that weird little occult kid"

"What?!?!" Budo got up of his seat and walked over to me where I was crying.

"Leave him alone!" He shouted at the delinquents.

"Oooh look who's protecting his little diddums" One of them replied

"So what? Is being gay a crime?!?!"

The people who hadn't been at the sleepover looked at Budo in shock.

Then the whispering started.
