Many often asked me to tell the tale of Avatar Aang, the last Airbender.

Of course, they wanted to hear about the sights seen, the battles fought, and the physical hardships endured. No one cared about how I changed over the duration of the sometimes treacherous mission led by a group of adolescents with the ambition to restore peace and balance. They didn't want to listen about how I was forced to adapt into a woman at fourteen. They didn't want to listen to me talk about how although my body corresponded with a normal teenager, my actions and feelings were that of a grown woman.

They didn't want to hear about how I had fallen in love.
