From Fan To Fam

Rosaleen's POV

(This is going to be a short chapter guys so I hope your alright with that ✌️)

We were almost at one of the shopping centres in the big city. Frankie was non stop chattering and laying jokes on me while Joan was in the drivers seat listening to Ariana's song 'Moonlight'.

Frankie was so over the moon about catching up because he really loved me as a baby kid. I guess you could say he thought of me as his second little sister.

I was laughing along with his funny moments that he and Ariana made together during the past 15 years. But I was still mainly focused on Ariana in all honesty. I glanced over to her for a second, she was still siting close to me but we were hardly speaking to each other at all. I blinked when I realised how awkward it was, and I noticed we didn't talk for a good 10 minutes after she found out I was...me.

I cleared my throat after Frankie finally took a break and I looked on over to Ariana ready to say something, but then I quickly swallowed my words and looked away.

Oh shit! Why aren't you saying anything to her stupid!

My eyebrows furrowed and I began twiddling my thumbs.

I could feel someone staring at me nearby and when I glanced over to Frankie, he had the biggest smirk on his face while resting his chin on his hands. He knew that I really liked Ariana as a kid and i'm guessing he knows I still do.

He nudged on my shoulder with his hand and began lip syncing the words "TALK TO HERRR!"
I wanted to laugh at him but instead I nodded with determination before looking back at Ariana. "S-Soo, how has little Ori been lately?" I asked her sheepishly smiling.

I always use to call her Ori when we were little. Joan told me her name was inspired by the show Princess Oriana and I thought it was so cute that I had to give her a nickname.

Ariana grinned straight away after hearing the name Ori and she laughed. "Oh my god I can't believe you just called me that!" she said playfully shoving my shoulder with hers.

I started laughing with her. "Well you are a princess after all." I said gently shoving her back.

She poked her tongue out before bitting on it, suddenly resting her head on my shoulder and tugging on my sleeve. "I feel so bad Rosa." she murmured as her bottom lip puckered. "I didn't even recognise my own friend. I'm so so sorry." she affectionately pulled me in for a hug.

I literally felt like crying.

MY BABBBYYYY!!!

I gently hugged her back with the biggest smile on my face. "No it's okay honestly! I should have told you sooner before nosey over there somehow found out." I said bashfully touching Frankie's nose with the tip of my finger.

She giggled and nuzzled her face against my shoulder. My heart throbbed and I blushed as she continued to do it. I was surprised at how comfortable she was with me and I couldn't help but think, Wow. I went from fan to fam real quick.
