You see dark brown joyous eyes
That sparkle with glee when tickled with happiness
And are as innocent as a pure baby
But what you see isn't so
Those dark brown eyes droop with sorrow and despair
They sparkle from fresh tears
They've seen and felt much more than you can ever bear
Those brown eyes are broken and have sunken into despair to no return
Nothing can save these brown eyes
They've drifted too far down
They're out of reach
Stuck drowning in their own misery unable to get a grasp of air
Their only escape is looking up towards the lilac sky full of equanimity
Where birds sing of eternal peace
