Sedona's POV

"Rules?" I asked.

"Yes rules."

"Why would we have rules? I know this isn't like other marriages, but won't everything be the same? Besides the fact that I was kidnapped and threatened to do this?"

"Yes pretty much. No affairs, no divorces, lots of sex, many children."

"E-excuse me!" I stammered.

"I'm kidding Bambi." he laughed. "Now all jokes aside, my conditions are simple, One: This really is not an open marriage. Neither of us will have lovers outside of this marriage. Two: There really will not be a divorce after this is over. There is no reason behind this except finding a wife is really too much of a hassle. Plus, I feel very lucky to have you as my wife. You are beautiful, apparently your smart if you work for Nafarrio Enterprises, no?"

I could only shrug.

"And modest. Anyways, Three: We will have children. I-"

"And that is where I'm going to stop you, hun. One: Children are out of the equation. There is no way I'm having kids with a Mafia boss. I wouldn't want them around this type of stuff, so no. Two: Why can't we divorce? If I'm married to you for my he rest of my life I'll never get a chance at real love." I argued.

"And what makes you think you won't find love with me?" He asked, offended.

"I-I don't..." I murmured.

"Exactly. I'm not your usual textbook Mob boss. I don't go around hating any and everything. I have nothing against love and I have no problem with thinking that I'll fall in love one day. And I'm hurt that you would think so." He stated, using my words from earlier. "So how about this, how about instead of putting stereotypes on each other, we get to know each other. To avoid anyone else getting offended. We are going to be married after all."

"Fine." I say after a moment. "Does this make me crazy, agreeing to this I mean?"

"Probably." Vasali said. I completely forgot he was in the room. "But you're doing it for a good cause right? We all want to see that same sick bastard crumble."

"Yeah. What did he do to you guys?" I asked.

"Will you tell us what he did to you if we tell you?" Vasali asked.

"Maybe another time." I say after putting some thought into it.

"Okay then."

"So, how about we get this started." Grey suggested.

"When's your birthday?" I asked.

"May Twenty-fifth." They answered in unison. "Yours?"

"June third."

"We should've known that. It was just yesterday." Grey said.

"What's your favorite juice?" Vasali asked.

"Apple."

"Same." They reply.

"Favorite smell?"

"Favorite smell?" Vasali asked, confused.

"Mhm. I don't like to ask typical first date questions."

"Huh? Okay, umm... burned matches." Grey says.

"Mine is gasoline!" Vasali yells.

"My favorite smell is new tires." I said.

"I though you were going to say something like daffodils or peppermint." Vasali teased.

"And that's why we're doing this. Now, favorite superhero?"

"Batman." They say in unison once again.

"Deadpool." I say with confidence.

"Deadpool is not a superhero. He even says so himself." Grey argued.

"It doesn't matter what he said. His actions made him a superhero. For example, he saved his girlfriend."

"Keyword being 'girlfriend'. He saved her because she was his 'future baby momma.'"

"Well he unintentionally saved all those people in the lab Francis was running." I countered.

"They all died." Vasali said, laughing.

"He still saved them. Stop arguing with me! Gosh!"

"What's your favorite color?" Grey asked.

"Green." I said with an irritated sigh.

"Grey, you can't ask the normal people questions. You gotta ask her something like 'what's your favorite sex position?'"

At this, they both turned to me, looking for something I didn't have. An answer.

"I-uh... Well-" I stutter stupidly, praying something would happen, to keep me from answering this question.

And then, Grey's phone rang. I don't think I've ever been so relieved in all of my twenty-one years.

"Bambi, my brother and I have some business to handle. I'd appreciate it if you stayed here, but you don't have to. Just remember what I said, you will have a security detail, this is non-negotiable. They go wherever you go."

"Fine. When will you be back?"

"We'll only be a couple of hours. We should be back before dinner." He said, walking to the door.

"And just who is cooking said dinner?"

"Why you are, my little wife." He said, laughing.

"Is that the type of wife I'm going to be? The one that cooks and cleans and lets the man take care of her?" He opened his mouth to reply, but I stopped him.

"Don't answer that. No. I refuse to be a housewife. I will work and will finish college. And after I finish college, I will start to work full-time at Nafarrio Ent. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Now leave."

I turned on my heel to leave before either of them could reply.
Grey is going to learn very soon that the phrase 'Happy wife, Happy life' are words he needs to live by.

So this is just a filler. I know it's short, but nothing is coming to me. I honestly can't seem to write anything decent. I started this chapter over like four different times. I would say it'll get better, I honestly don't know if it will, we'll see. Anyways, thanks for reading.
