I Have A Theory

Vasali's POV

After Sedona finished her story she cried for about ten minutes. I felt a strong need to pull her into my arms, to comfort her. So I did. The crying only seemed to get worse. Grey disappears for a second and returns with a box of tissues.

'Since when do we have stuff like that?'

"Bunny?" I ask hesitantly. She lifts her head in acknowledgement. "We're going to kill that sick fuck. Even if it's the last thing we do. Although I don't plan on it." She lets out a shaky laugh and a breathy 'okay'.

"So are you ready to hear our story?" I ask. "It's a lot less... soul crushing than yours." 

"Yeah, okay. Sure." She says, wiping her nose.

"He kidnapped our father." At this Sedona's eyes go wide with shock. She doesn't speak for a moment. She seems to come to a conclusion about something, because confusion, recognition and surprise pass over her face in a matter of seconds.

"OH MY GOD!" She screams all of a sudden.

"What? What happened?"

"Huh? What? Nothing. Nothing at all."  She says in a daze. "Hey do you guys think my father knows that you know that he kidnapped your father?"

"No. We were planning on telling him when I proposed to you."

"Don't tell him." I said.

"What? Why not?" Grey asked.

"I have a theory. Is he hurting your father?"

"No, not that we know of. What are you getting at Sedona?

"I'll tell you when I'm one hundred percent sure. Just don't tell him that you know yet. I'm gonna tell him and my mother that I'm engaged. My mother being who she is, she's gonna want to throw me and engagement party. That's where we'll find out who I'm marrying."

"I'm gonna watch him for a little while to see if I'm right about my suspicions, and I'll tell you guys my conclusion. You can tell wether I'm wrong or right."

Once I knew they were okay with my little plan I made my way to my room to get my phone. I go back down stairs and sit between the two men and call my mother. After the third ring she picks up.

"Donny, baby." I hear my mother say on the other end.

"Hi Mommy." I said, a huge smile spreading across my face. "Is he with you?"

"Not with me but he's here. Why?"

"Can you find him? I have something to tell you guys."

"Is something wrong Sedona?" My Momma asked, worry very evident in her voice.

"No, Momma. I promise nothing is wrong."

"Okay." After this I hear he moving around, I assume she's looking for my father.

"Okay I found him. Here, it's Sedona."

"Hello?" I heard him say.

"Hello father."

"Hello Sedona."

"Umm... yeah. Can you put me on speaker phone, I have something really important to tell you guys."

"Sure." There's movement on the other side. "Okay, go ahead."

My heart starts pounding uncontrollably.

"Hello?" My mother says.

"Oh, yeah. Right. Um... I wanted to tell you guys that uh... I'm uh... getting married."

The line is quiet on the other end. Now it's my turn to say hello.

I can hear my Mother crying.

"Momma? Momma, whats wrong?" I ask panicked.

"My baby is getting married." She wails.

"Oh." I let out a breath of relief.

"Do we know this gentleman?" My father asked.

"I doubt it." That actually sounded pretty convincing.

"Well when can we meet him? I'm gonna throw you an engagement party, and we can meet him then. Do you know when you want the wedding to be?"

"Are you pregnant?"

"That would be fine Ma. I wanna be married in the spring. And no father, I'm not pregnant." The last part was said with all the hatred I could muster up.

"Okay, well Donny. Tell me your the next time you're free and we'll go from there, Okay?"

"Okay, Momma."

"Okay, baby. I'm gonna let you go now. Love you."

"I love you too, Momma." She hangs up.

I look up at Grey and Vasali.

"That went better than I thought it would."

HI YOU GUYS!! How are you?... I'm good, thanks. I don't even know how long it's been since I last updated, and I deeply apologize for that. You guys probably didn't even notice, lol. It's nothing spectacular, but it's something right? Btw, can you guys guess what's going on with Sedona's father. I'm not exactly good at being mysterious, so you guys'll probably figure it out.
