"Sorry we have to celebrate your birthdays' today and not on the actual day."

Mom and dad have to work tomorrow on my twin and I's birthday. It okay though since we didn't really care much for our birthday.

My parents have always gone all out on every birthday. It's nice to have something small with just the four of us.

We spent the day sight seeing in our new town. Mom made us take at least 100 pictures today. We were like tourist, it was kinda fun.

"So are you guys excited for your first day of school? It'll be your first day and last day as high schoolers. Can't believe my babies are growing up." Mom sniffled. Here we again, moms about to get emotional. I thought as I rolled my eyes.

"Mom, we've been grown since we hit puberty. Well maybe just me. I don't know about Luna, she doesn't really look like she's grown." My brother looked me up and down and patted my head like I was a little child. Making fun of me just because he was 6'3.

I guess being 5'4 makes you a child now. I was having a lot of fun so I just didn't bother to start an argument. I got on my tiptoes and pinched my brothers cheeks. "Oh dear brother you are so right. I just hope that one day I'll get all big and grown just like my favorite brother who I love oh so much."

"I'm your only brother. And you're freaking me out." Luca gave me a questioning look.

Giving my brother and parents the biggest smile, I turned on my heels and started skipping to the car, ignoring their confused looks. I just wanted to hurry up and get home so I could take a nap before I go to sleep.

The ride home was filled with radio music.

Finally getting home, I was surprised with the most beautiful site. My new truck, a 2018 Toyota Tacoma. Oh lord was it a beautiful sight. When did my parents have the time to do this? Hmm.. who cares! I ran to my parents and smothered them with hugs and kisses. I was so happy I didn't notice my brother practically making out with his new sports car. Definitely a mental image I didn't want to keep. Groooosss.

Welp with this new truck I'm ready to conquer my last year in high school!
