Grell was in drama class, sighing a bit annoyed while her teacher, Miss Red, rubbed her temples. Today was the auditions for the Nightmare before Christmas play, which went great except for one tiny little issue.

No one there tried out for Jack.

Miss Red was now being hysterical, fanning herself with a huge red fan.

"Grell! This is a disaster! How can we do "The Nightmare before Christmas" without a Jack?!?!?" She cried dramatically.

"We can't. Maybe someone already in it cou-?"

"Oh please don't even ask! You know very well someone can't just be given a huge role like that without trying first!"

Grell sighed, not really having any options. She walked out of the room to go cool down and get away from the drama.

She was almost out of the building when she stopped, hearing something. Someone singing.

She turned and saw no one. She walked back to the room then stopped again, seeing someone in the band room playing the piano. He was good, and had a beautiful voice with it.

She slowly walked in and gasped, realizing who it was. It was Sebastian! He was playing "Lay me down" by Sam Smith.

Here's the song for those who don't know))

He plays so well. And sings even better! Wait a moment...

"Sebastian! You're an amazing singer!"

He jumped up and turned, blushing as he saw Grell.

"O-Oh! Uh thanks Grell. I don't sing that often." He muttered, looking away.

"Why not?! It's so good!"

"I-I usually just sing to help remember the song."

"Come with me please!" She said, grabbing his arm and pulling him towards the drama room.

"Grell? What are you-?"

Grell threw open the door with a huge smile on her face.

"Miss Red!! I found someone perfect for Jack!"

Wait what?!  Sebastian thought as Miss Red stood up and walked over.

He watched them talk a bit before the teacher, who Sebastian was slightly afraid of, looked sternly at him.

"Can you act Michaelis?" She asked, crossing her arms.

He gulped and said

"I guess so."

"I could help him with a few certainties Miss Red!" Grell offered, silencing when her teacher shot her a look.

"It's not just acting, Mister Michaelis. You can't just play the part. You must be the part! Now, I ask again. Can. You. Act?"

Sebastian slightly narrowed his eyes and nodded.

"Yes I can."

Miss Red's lips curved into a smile.

"I also heard you have some pipes. Perhaps you'd like to show us?"

The whole room went silent, hearing someone sing. They were shocked seeing Sebastian, a normally quiet and sometimes nerd, was singing. He had a great, no, outstanding voice. Miss Red seemed impressed, and excited.

After Sebastian finished, she turned to Grell and said

"You were right. He's perfect for the part."
